parliament?
Answer:
Characteristics the members of American congress: while the partisan composition of the Congress is
fairly close to that of the electorate, there are larger disparities between the Congress and the general
citizenry in term of sex and race. In the House, there are currently 362 men and 76 women. In the Senate,
there are 17 women and 83 men. Senators and Representatives come from all parts of the United States, but
they do not reflect a true cross section of America. Overall, members of Congress tend to be older, wealthier,
and better educated than those they represent. Nearly half of them are lawyers, and a large number come
from business, banking, and education. Most of them are married with children, and about 60% are
Protestants. Nearly all went to college, and many have advanced degrees as well.
Characteristics the members of Indonesian parliaments:

Politics of Indonesia takes place in a

framework of a presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the President of Indonesia is both
head of state and head of government, and of a multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the
government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the two People's Representative
Councils. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature. The People's Consultative
Assembly (Indonesian: Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat, MPR) is the legislative branch in Indonesia's
political system. Following elections in 2004, the MPR became a bicameral parliament, with the creation of
the DPD as its second chamber in an effort to increase regional representationThe Regional Representatives
Council (Indonesian: Dewan Perwakilan Daerah, DPD) is the upper house of The People's Consultative
Assembly. The lower house is The People's Representative Council (Indonesian: Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat,
DPR), sometimes referred to as the House of Representatives, which has 550 members, elected for a fiveyear term by proportional representation in multi-member constituencies.

5. What are some of differences between modern dating and traditional dating? In American families and
Indonesian families?
Answers:
In America :One report suggested the United States as well as other western-oriented countries were
different from the rest of the world because "love is the reason for mating," as opposed to marriages being
arranged to cement economic and class ties between families and promote political stability. Dating, by
mutual consent of two single people, is the norm. Teenagers and college-aged students tend to avoid the
more formal activity of dating, and prefer casual no-strings-attached experiments sometimes described as
hookups. It permits young women to "go out and fit into the social scene, get attention from young men, and
learn about sexuality", according to one report by sociologists. The term hookup can describe a wide variety
of behavior ranging from kissing to non-genital touching to make-out sessions; according to one report, only
about one third of people had sexual intercourse. A contrary report, however, suggested there has been no
"sea change" in sexual behavior regarding college students from 1988 onwards, and that the term hookup
itself continued to be used to describe a variety of relationships, including merely socializing or passionate
kissing as well as sexual intercourse.
In Indonesia: Dating in Indonesia is different with western which in Indonesia dating it is something
uncommon thing. Hugging, kissing, and so on, for Indonesian are not good to be seen because Indonesia take
eastern culture that it just for people who got married but it doesnt mean they can do it in public . The age
difference, quite common in expats/Indonesian girls couples, is less a problem than one could imagine.
Dating older men for an Indonesian girl is not necessarily seen as a bad thing, because older men are deemed
more adequate to provide girls with the security they need. Yet, the age difference may also be a difficult
because it adds to the incomprehension between the two partners.
