The Bread of Life

March 6-March 12

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and
his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is
flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go
well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and
how much I love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus name, Amen

I will never hunger or thirst because Jesus is the Bread of Life.

God chasers want to know what God is doing and be where God is
moving.

John 6:35, And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that
cometh to me shall never hunger: and he that believeth on me shall
never thirst.

Naomi, her husband, and their two sons left Bethlehem and moved to
Moab because there was a famine in Bethlehem. The meaning of the
word Bethlehem is House of Bread. Naomis family left the house
of bread because there was no bread there; crops werent growing
in the town that was known as having plenty of food so they picked
up everything and moved to Moab. Years later, after her husband and
her sons died, Naomi heard that there was bread in Bethlehem again.
Then she arose with her daughters-in-law to leave the country of
Moab because the Lord had heard the cries of His people in
Bethlehem and visited them by giving them bread. She was ready to
go where ever she had to go just to be back in the presence of God.
Naomi and her family have something in common with people who
leave churches today. Her family left the place where there was no
bread and went somewhere else to find bread. People are hungry for
something to fill them spiritually. They want to be in churches where
God is moving and people are feeling God and hearing God talk to
them.
Bread is a heavenly symbol of God. As a God Chaser we are
searching for the real bread, God. When people cant find God in
church they look in other places like drugs, alcohol, cults, and gangs.
God is not in any of those places. Jesus said to those who followed
Him, I am the Bread of Life: those who come to Me will never
hunger or thirst. We cant eat for our loved ones who need Jesus,
but we can worship, pray, and fill ourselves up so that when people
see us they will see God in us and follow us to find Him. We can
show the world that God is real and He is powerful.
