IMMEDIATE TRANSMISSION OF DISTRESS

GMDSS ALARM PANEL IS LOCATED AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE W/H CONTROL CONSOLE.
IMMEDIATE TRANSMISSION BY PUSHING DISTRESS KEY DURING 5 SECONDS

BY GMDSS
1-VHF DSC SKANTI -VHF 1000
a/ Press DISTRESS key during 5 seconds mini Immediate transmission of the distress

b/ Press Tx Call key + More + DISTRESS + Follow the menu Distress transmit

2-MF/HF DSC SKANTI -TRP 1000

a/ Press DISTRESS during 5 seconds mini Immediate transmission of the distress

b/ Press Tx Call key + DISTRESS + Follow the menu Distress transmit

3-SAT-C Thrane&Thrane
a/ Press DISTRESS key during 5 seconds Immediate transmission of the distress
b/ In the Capsat Menu, select DISTRESS, key in the type of distress and valid by OK

BY SAT-F
REMINDER : Satcom F does not belong to the SMDSM station. But
there is no banning to use it to send a Distress.
Location: in Admin office, at the right side of SATCOM panel.

Remove the red cap Press DISTRESS key for at least 6 seconds
* Generally, this means of communication will be preserved for the service calls.
