Sunblock Stick for Babies

SU-0029(LA)

(Measured In Vitro SPF value 50+)

This mild formula was specially designed for babies skin with filters designed to provide broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. Promulgen* D emulsifier
provides structure for the stick format for ease of application. The slip and softness properties are provided by a combination of Schercemol* DIA, SHS
and 1818 esters. Glucate* DO emulsifier provides suspension for the physical sun filters used in this formulation.

Procedure:
1.

PART A: Mix PART A ingredients in a suitable vessel.

2.

Add PART B ingredients to PART A with mixing. Mix until pigments are fully wetted.

3.

Continuing mixing using a high-speed mixer for about 15 minutes or until uniform.

4.

Add PART C ingredients to batch one at a time and heat to 85 90C. Mix until
uniform.

5.

Reduce the temperature of batch to 75C with mixing.

6.

Add PART D with gentle mixing. Mix until uniform.

7.

Pour into lipstick mold still hot.
