Gunnveig Nerol builds paintings. Her building material is colour, which she
conceives of as inherently sculptural. With colours she builds forms, and with
forms, paintings.....She does not strive for harmony or elegance. Words such as
juxtaposition, opposition, and contradiction come to mind instead.
