One in ASEAN Harmony

We always have this one goal, the goal of being successful and achieving the
highest quality of life, and if anythings for certain, its that we are not in this alone.
And we couldnt do what we do, or be where we are without the support of
someone. We are ONE in every aspects of our lives as we are living in a world where
we are co-dependent with all the others. We are compelled to help one another, to
create what we call unity and peace. And I think that the ONE GOAL here is us being
ONE with Christ and the whole human race. Were all in this together.
Character Building is National Building - The Universitys guiding principle
in forming us to be the leader, the hope of the mother-land, the one who can
transform the world and the one who can make a difference in the life of our people.
All those characteristics by which every Perpetualite possess can be a great edge
for being a contributor in creating a better nation. The tagline Always Caring. Always
Ahead, by which we truly lived by, helped Perpetualites be honed and be molded to be at the top. We are
trained to be globally competitive through broadening our network in both national and international
aspects as they are glad and proud to expose students outside the university and represent what an
eager Altas is. Keeping an eye open for every possibilities of every Perpetualite all over the Philippines
and all over the world. And that was made possible by the Universitys exellence in education and their
promotion of having Filipino Christian values. Think of every Perpetualite leaders creating

bridges and having the initiative to join and encourage people to lend their hands
together to combat the ills of the present time and raise one another to the peak of
every success. What a dreamy place this world can become. W e will need each other for
love, guidance, support and to form efforts to live building a worthy and fulfilling life. Thats what our
university breeds, a great Helpers of God. Altogether, we stand as ONE PERPETUAL.
The time has now begun for the Philippines to be one with the ASEAN Community. As Filipinos,
we should be aware and be ready for the possibilities and the opportunities of this declaration takes. We
are one in sharing the visions agreed and arranged by SouthEast Asian Nations namely: Thailand,
Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia and the
Philippines, as outward looking, prosperity, stability and being great partners in the development of each
state and making world peace possible in which unity in diversity takes place. ASEAN Community
prepares the South East Asian to be a great model to its neighboring region and later the world. Filipino
traits and character can be a great advantage for maintaining a great relationship towards the ASEAN.
We can share to them our rich culture and diverse knowledge, plus let them discover and patronize our
countrys natural resources. Let our voices be heard and be with the rythm, We ARE ONE IN ASEAN
HARMONY.
Now as one, we have the great strength and foundation in creating a solid family. We are now
capable of creating more bridges, bringing equality towards every nation and are ready to take the
responsibility of a true sibling. No one person can fight the stigma alone, no one person can change the
world. But together? No one can stop us. A Perpetualite, a Filipino and a SouthEast Asian, WE ARE
ONE.
