Resolution No. 3, Series of 2014-2015

A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE HONORARIA SCHEME OF THE MEMBERS

OF BAGWIS EDITORIAL BOARD
WHEREAS, the amount of honorarium per member shall be determined by the core
editorial members, namely, the Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor(s), and the Managing
editor;
WHEREAS, the amount of honorarium per member shall be determined based on (1)
his/her articles/photos/cartoon published in the latest issue of BAGWIS: he/she shall
receive P200-P300 per news/sports article depending on length; P500 per cover story;
P500 per feature article (essays, short stories); P200 per poem; P1000 per main

editorial; P500 per opinion article; P500 per editorial cartoon; P200-P300 per photo
depending on size; P200 per cartoon/comic strip;
plus (2) his/her position in the editorial staff: P800 for the Editor-in-Chief; P500 each for
the Associate Editor(s), Managing Editor, Circulation Manager, and Department Editors;
plus (3) his/her effort exerted during the making of the paper: the amount shall range
from P0-P500 and shall be determined by the aforementioned core editorial members;
WHEREAS, the aforementioned core editorial members shall present a proposal for the
honoraria of the members BAGWIS editorial board after they have determined the
amount of honorarium per member;
WHEREAS, the amounts shall be disbursed if and only if the BAGWIS Adviser(s) has
approved the proposal.
NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED by the BAGWIS editorial staff, to pass and approve Resolution No.
3, Series of 2014-2015, A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE HONORARIA
SCHEME OF THE MEMBERS OF BAGWIS EDITORIAL BOARD.
