On behalf PIEP, we call and enjoin everyone fellow planners, practitioners of allied professions and the private sector, representatives of civil society, government and the academe, policy- and decision-

makers and other stakeholders to:

We call and enjoin everyone to: look to our Heritage for inspiration on how we can

We call and enjoin everyone to: welcome the advancements of how we perceive, define and practice

Science and technology are essential for national development
and progress. It should be recognized that priority should be
given to research and development, invention, innovation, and
their utilization and to science and technology education,
training, and services 4 .
For us Planners – we are challenged to (1) commit to contribute to
the development of the profession by sharing and improving
knowledge and initiating new and innovative planning concepts and
techniques (2) devote time, effort, talent, and resources for the
advancement of the profession and (3) to carry out our primary
obligation of serving the country and safeguard public interest 5 .
