Grofers [Delhi, 2013]: Provides delivery network services connecting local merchants to their customers. Was a
B2B solution and is currently allowing consumers to order products from local merchants for home delivery
through Grofers (Nov 2014). The company provides home delivery service from chemist, grocery, bakery and
other local shops. The company sends a team to take photos of products and upload them to its platform.
Service is available in 9 Indian cities. Claims to have partnered with 250+ local merchants and processing
33,000+ orders every month with a fifth of those orders placed through its mobile apps and generates 20 new
leads per outlet every month as of Feb 2015. Doing 6000 orders everyday as of June 2015. Has around 700
delivery guys. Offers an Android based app on Google Playstore. Part of Locodel Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Acquired
mobile first groceries startup MyGreenBox in April 2015.
Jugnoo Fatafat [Chandigarh, 2015]: Lets users order food, groceries, medicines, alcohol, bakery items, medicines
from anywhere through its mobile app. Minimum ordering price of INR 300 with free delivery. Has a custom order
feature, where the users can place a custom order without selecting the store and get it delivered. Part of online
autorickshaw aggregator Jugnoo.
Scootsy [Mumbai, 2014]: Scootsy is a yet-to-be-launched local delivery service startup, by Ant Farm. Meals On
Wheels, a food ordering & delivery venture which was acquired in Nov 2014 by Ant Farm would be merged with
Scootsy. Would offer local delivery of groceries, gifts, essentials besides restaurant food. Making 300-350
delivers as of Feb 2015 and expected to increase the number to 10000 by end of the year. Ant farm is investing
$3M and planning to raise another $10M from venture capitalists. To be headed by Meals On Wheels cofounders.
Findable.in [Mumbai, 2013]: Findable is a location based product search and discovery platform. Users can
browse through specific stores or shopping malls in their vicinity or search for a particular product or brand and
locate it in stores near them. After locating the closest stores, users can either go to the store to pick up the
products, or get it home delivered from the nearest store. Also offers users the option to buy online for some
products. Mobile optimized site.
Stockupp [Mumbai, 2015]: Stockupp is a hyperlocal delivery marketplace. Ties up with local stores to supply
groceries, medicines, bakery items to customers within 90 minutes. Does not hold any inventory. Founder IIT
Madras.

Delyver [Bangalore, 2010]: Delyver is an online platform that enables users to order food from nearby restaurants
and retailers where the company takes care of delivering the food from the restaurant to the user. The company
ties up with multiple restaurants and retailers in a location and provides listings along with menu and pricing
details on the platform. In 2012, the company received angel funding from serial entreprenuer K Ganesh. The
company has now branched out to 250 retailers with 300 outlets on board. Raised INR 6.5 crores in Nov 2014,
from a Bangalore-based venture fund. Acquired by online grocery retailer BigBasket in a cash-and-stock
transaction in June 2015. Will continue to operate in the hyperlocal space, retaining its brand name and
functioning as an independent entity. Delyver will manage Bigbasket's upcoming plans to start one hour delivery.

Fetcher [Delhi, 2014]: Provides home delivery for local shopping. Users can order for products/food available in
restaurants and stores locally, on their portal and get it delivered at their address in 90 minutes. Operates only in
Delhi between 9am-9pm.
QuitQ [Kochi, 2014]: QuitQ is an Android app / web platform for grocery shopping. Sells grocery products like
fruits, vegetables, spices, meat, fish, food and beverages as its core business. Also sells some apparel products,
footwear and accessories for men, women and kids; office supplies, baby care, household appliances, personal
care products, books, movies, medicines etc. After a customer places an order, QuitQ forwards it to its vendors,
collects the product from different vendor locations, delivers the products and accepts payment by cash or card.
Developed by Magic Media, a startup incubated at Startup Village. Available only in Kochi as of Feb 2015 and is
planning to expand to other major cities in the coming months.
99Deliveries [Hyderabad, 2013]: 99Deliveries provides home delivery service from grocery, bakery and other local
shops. Has a network of delivery guys handling logistics. Charges a flat delivery fee of INR 30 per order for
standard delivery within 24 hours. For express delivery charges INR 90 per order and claims to deliver in under 4
hours. Operating in Hyderabad as on June 2015.
GetNow [Nagpur, 2014]: GetNow is a location based e-commerce platform that connects local stores in Nagpur
to customers in the same city. Maintains its own fleet of delivery personnel and delivers products from stores to
customers. Provides express delivery within 90 minutes. Product categories include mobile, electronics, grocery,
books, cakes and bakery items etc. Has tie-ups with 400 retailers and offers more than 45,000 products through
its Android app and website. Part of Retail labs. Has received an undisclosed amount in seed funding from Atulya
Mittal, a nephew of steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal and founder of Avan Projects.

Bhejjo [Bangalore, 2015]: Bhejjo picks up and delivers parcels, grocery, medicines, documents, etc in a local area.
Charges INR 50 within 5 kms, INR 100 between 5-15 km and INR 200 for more than 15 kms.

Outbox [Kolkata, 2015]: Outbox is an on demand personalized delivery service which delivers gifts, boxes, cakes
etc. Also does theme based delivery services like deliver gifts as a Santa Claus on Christmas. Users need to send
a query with details of the context and budget through the site and Outbox team will get back to users with the
plan. Service available only in Kolkata as on March 2015.

Ziprun [Delhi, 2015]: Ziprun provides instant local delivery for individuals and businesses. Offers delivery service
for documents, cash pickups, grocery, food etc. Charges INR 9/km for delivery and additional 2% on the cash
amount/item price for cash pickup & buying. Order can be placed through call or mobile app. Claims to undertake
police verification & background checks for all delivery agents. Operating in Delhi as on April 2015.

Ready2Pick [Bangalore, 2015]: Ready2Pick offers personal shoppers and deliverymen for shopping
groceries/medicines etc and delivering parcels from point to point within the city in 90 minutes. Catering to
Bangalore. Workers travel on two-wheelers. Also provides two wheeler with a driver for point-to-point commuting.
Currently taking orders through Whatsapp.

SupermanDelivers [Delhi, 2014]: SupermanDelivers is an online platform offering local delivery services through
its team of messengers. Uses Bike, Cycle & Metro for transportation. Delivers Documents, Food, Groceries,
Medicines, Flowers, Gifts, Cakes, etc. Takes orders through website, missed call, SMS, Whatsapp, Viber. Tied-up
with NGO, Clothes Box Foundation, for collection of old clothes for poor. Catering to Delhi/NCR and Hyderabad.

Gorush [Delhi, 2014]: Gorush offers personal delivery services. Users can request for delivery service by providing
their pickup details and drop details through app or call. Picks the parcel from the user within 30 minutes and
delivers to their desired location in less than an hour, on orders with in a radius of up to 7 kms. Charges INR 70
per delivery. Available on both Android and iOS.

DoorToDoorDelivery [Bangalore, 2014]: DoorToDoor Delivery, by Saanvi Services is a web based portal that
allows users to avail delivery services for point to point deliveries. The minimum charge is INR 100 for 5 kms and
INR 15/km post that. Users can book a delivery through SMS/call along with the online website.

gifts, bill payments, travel tickets, courier services etc. Claims to provide delivery for anything within legal
framework. Users can place orders online or through call. Currently accepts only cash on delivery. Charges INR 50

Star Runners [Delhi, 2015]: Star Runners owned by KCB Associates is an online platform offering local delivery
services. Users can book their service online or through call. Aims to deliver any product in under 90 mins. Also
offers insurance for products. Charges INR 8 per km for delivery. Possible uses cases include picking up from dry
cleaning, stitched suits from tailor, medicines, documents from office or bank, food, groceries etc. Planning to
launch a mobile application in the near future. Operates in selected areas of Delhi as on June 2015
YourGuy [Mumbai, 2014]: YourGuy is a mobile-based concierge service that provides all bespoke delivery
services across the city. Customers can use the app to order food, cakes, juices, documents, gifts, movie tickets
etc. and the company buys from the best places and delivers them to the customer. Available on Android as of
April 2015, with iOS app to be launched in the future.
Aagayaa [Delhi, 2015]: Aagayaa offers personal delivery services. Users can book their service by providing
pickup, delivery location through the mobile application. Claims to provide delivery for anything within legal
framework. It also offers point to point local delivery services. Possible use cases include delivering documents,

uber's model. Users can deliver packages to their friends or seek delivery services by fixing a pickup point on the
map. Yet to launch an app on playstore and appstore and about to start their services in Bangalore as of June

StreetJumper [Jaipur, 2014]: StreetJumper is a local delivery service, operating through a mobile app offering.
Users can avail services for sending goods and purchase of products from groceries, restaurants, pharmacies,
etc. Delivery professionals, termed 'Jumpers', travel on motorbikes and can carry upto 25 Kgs of luggage. Verifies
jumpers and provides user based ratings for them.

The Shopmates [Gurgaon, 2015]: The Shopmates is an yet-to-launch mobile app for crowdsourced local delivery
of goods. Users can post their order request, provide address and store where they want it from. Users can also
post custom requests such as picking up an item from a particular address. Assigns a shopmate to the user,
allows messaging through the mobile app and tracking the shopmate. Anyone with a vehicle can register to be a
shopmate, after which ShopMates checks their background and gives an orientation session. Charges a tip for
the delivery, starting at INR 75. Deducts payment from mobile wallet, user needs to have a minimum set amount

ZopNow [Bangalore, 2011]: ZopNow offers an eCommerce platform for grocery delivery to homes in different
slots. Categories include kitchen groceries, house cleaning, food and beverages, bathroom and bedroom
products. Pivoted from managing own inventory to sourcing supplies from supermarket chain HyperCity. Once
customer places an order, the companys runner executives in the store picks/packs and delivers the goods in
less than three hours to the customer. The company is further in talks with other offline retailers to implement a
similar model. Launched in September 2011. Available in Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune as of
April 2015. Has mobile apps for iOS and Android. Raised series A funding led by Dragoneer Investment Group
with participation from Accel Partners, Qualcomm Ventures and Times Internet in April 2015 to expand to over 15
cities.

PepperTap [Gurgaon, 2014]: PepperTap is mobile app for shopping groceries, fruits and vegetables. Hyperlocal
delivery business model, similar to InstaCart. Connects directly with local vendors and supermarkets to fulfill
orders. Also has a web based online store. Guarantees delivery within 2 hours and takes a cut between 5-15% of
the total billed amount. Serving across all locations in Gurgaon. Has 10k+ mobile downloads. Founders IIM-A, exDelhivery. Raised $10M from Sequoia Capital in April 2015, which it will invest in building a team of over 500
employees by mid-2015 and expand to Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai in next 3-6 months.
Company now delivers 600+ orders across Gurgaon, Dwarka (Delhi) and Greater Noida on a daily basis and does
over 1.5 crore GMV on a monthly basis.

local shops. Using a map based UI. Supports both online payment and cash on delivery. Claims to deliver grocery
within 1 hour. Operating in Bangalore as on May 2015.
Instafrsh [Mumbai, 2015]: Instafrsh, formerly iDelivr, is a WhatsApp/text based service for ordering groceries
from nearby local stores. Customers can text their requirements through WhatsApp and the company delivers in
under 90 minutes by picking the goods from nearby stores. Founders ex-MD at Foodpanda, alumni of McKinsey,
Flipkart, IIM A, IIM C, IIT KGP.
MovinCart [Mumbai, 2015]: MovinCart is an on-demand delivery service. Customers can order from wide range of
