The Alzheimers Disease Foundation Malaysia (ADFM) is
organizing a Charity project named Konsert Amal DiRaja
Forget Me Not as a follow up to the very successful concert the
Konsert Amal DiRaja Unforgettable held in 2009 under the
Royal Patronage of the Sultan of Selangor, DYMM Sultan
Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al Haj at the Kuala Lumpur Convention
Centre. The objective of Konsert Amal DiRaja Forget Me Not
is to raise funds to help ADFM build a Dementia Homecare
Centre in Section 1, PJ Old Town to cater to the residential
needs of People with Dementia (PWD). Sultan of Selangor,
DYMM Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj has graciously
consented to be the Royal Patron of this event to be held on 5
December 2014 at KLCC to commemorate the birthday of
DYMM Sultan of Selangor in December 2014.
The 72 member Shanghai Symphony Orchestra was founded in
1879, is one of the earliest renowned orchestra in Asia. They will
be performing under the baton of the Artistic Director &
Conductor, Mr. Eugene Pook, together with special guest star,
multiple-award-winning singer-songwriter, Ms. Najwa Mahiaddin
and prize-winning violinist Ms. Huang Bin.
