In 100 - 150 words, write a report on one (1) learning point that you
can apply to your work, or your life, which you learnt from the
Industry Talk (Let's Talk Business @UniSIM).
I learnt that I must set my direction and values right in order to be
able to focus on the direction I would work towards. With such
milestones in place, I can better track my performance and results
achieved. Perserverance is key with the right mindset and
beginning with the End in mind. Do enough research about the
market you plan to venture into and identify the needs. Branding is
supposed to create impact and bring across a message to the
masses. Capitalise on resources which I am familiar and have access
to be build the internal structure of my organisation. Instill a strong
sense of belonging and ownership amongst the co-workers as values
and recognition drive people more than material rewards. Always be
prepared for hard work in the initial stage and tight financial control.
Lastly, look for an opportunity that can infuse many solutions to
address many needs.
1. Perseverence, run seminars to reach out to the masses,
approach associations as a starting platform.
