Concluding Remarks
The syllabus covers most of the important topics of materials such ferrous and nonferrous
materials, polymers application of ceramics and composite materials, smart materials etc.
in detail which helped the students in learning about the materials, smart materials,
selection of various types of materials according to application.
Students attended the classes regularly.
Presentations were assigned to the students on some topics.
Chamber consultation hours were held for presentations.
We can add some experiments to this course which can include the testing and
characterization of materials.
The overall result is good.
