Loop testing is a quick, convenient, and highly specific method

of evaluating an electrical circuit for its ability to engage
protective devices (circuit breakers, fuses, RCDs). A loop is
defined by including unsuspected elements, where current has
found parallel paths to ground. A ground loop determines the
effectiveness of protective devices, therefore it is crucial to be
able to measure it, in order to detect and correct problems.

Robin-Amprobe RCD testers are simple to use devices

designed to check for correct operation of RCD devices.
They feature three levels of trip currents with either Fast Trip
or Ramp Test for complete range of testing applications.

A residual-current device (RCD) disconnects a circuit whenever

the electric current is not balanced between the energised
and the neutral conductors. The imbalance indicates that
there is a leakage current outside of the system sometimes
caused by the person accidentally touching the energised part
of the circuit, and sometimes by lack of sufficient insulation
(excessive moisture or worn out, poor quality insulation
materials). RCDs are designed to disconnect quickly to mitigate
the harm caused by such shocks and to avoid current leaks
which may lead to fire and other dangerous situations.

Robin-Amprobe Ground Resistance Testers are designed

to measure resistance of the grounding systems to verify
that the system has low enough resistance to provide
protection for people, equipment and structures.

The Robin-Amprobe Insulation-Continuity Tester is designed

to diagnose and prevent the breakdown of the insulation in
various parts of the electrical system such as wires, transformers
and motors. The KMP7036 features three testing voltages
covering wide range of commercial and residential applications.

A properly functioning grounding system is a critical safety

feature of an electrical system. It is used to mitigate the risk
when exposed metal parts come in contact with dangerous
voltages in the event an installation fails. The building
structures are protected by grounding systems to divert
energy of lightning strikes straight to ground. Connections to
