First a doctor, then a television actor and now a producer. Anuuj Saxena, who finalldebuts in
Bollywood mainstream cinema, would love to try his hand at Punjabi cinema then. ³I would love to

Anuuj Saxena of Kkusum fame and Udita Goswami of Paap fame visited City Beautiful
Chandigarh promote their 



 !, a Maverick Production
movie. The film is ready to be released on April 30, 2010.

For Udita Goswami thriller seems to be her genre. ³I don¶t want to be typecast in any way. I have
always tried to select good scripts and even if most of them have been thrillers, my roles have
been different in each,´ she says. In µ



, she plays a nurse
opposite the lead actor Anuuj Saxena.

³As I love to watch action movies, it was a great experience to work in one. I enjoyed doing all the
action scenes. I enjoyed working for director Jagmohan Mundra as I got to learn a lot from him.
He¶s a strict director with an extremely calm and composed nature. I hope in the future also I find
an opportunity to work with him. The chase for the truth ends in nail biting, tense and unusual
climax, which will leave viewers spell,´ she adds.
So did she get her share of action onscreen. ³Yes. I did stunts on bike; under water, got chased
by dogs. And I didn¶t even have to prepare for it. My role is not just about looking glamorous.´

Having worked with big names in the industry, Udita feels for a movie to click promotions are a
must. ³No matter how good the script is or big the actors and directors are, promotions are
needed. And so we need people like Anuuj, who have money to sell the movie,´ she quips.
Shooting in Kashmir for the movie, amidst the security concerns, she says, ³It was never an
issue. In fact, the place is very warm.´

In addition to µChase¶, Udita is busy shooting for µThe Man¶, with Sunny Deol and µHello India¶ with
Akshay Kumar.

Anuuj Saxena, a big hit with the audiences on the small screen, and also the producer of this film
Chase said, ³I never faced any problem balancing acting and producing as I got tremendous
support from all the staff of my production house. In this movie I am playing the role of Sohail, a
youngster wrongly accused in a murder case and who wants to prove his innocence. For me it
was a great experience working with Udita and Tarina Patel, an actress from South Africa. Both
of them are talented actresses and they have worked really hard in this movie. We all shared a
great chemistry during the making of the movie.´

As long as the story is concerned, the main players in this  to get to the ³truth´ are Sohail
Ansari (Anuuj Saxena), a man on the run. DIG Ranveer Tyagi (Rajesh Khattar) has vested
interests in getting to the bottom of a murder in which Sohail is involved.
Inspector Siddharth (Sameer Kochhar), right hand of the DIG who is monitoring Sohail¶s actions.
In this scenario enters Nupur Chauhan (Udita Goswami), who is involved with Sohail closely.

The other players of this chase are Surbhee (Tarina Patel), Sohail¶s girlfriend and industrialist Mr
Khanna (Aditya Raj Kapoor) to whom money is the solution of all problems. Added to this there is
Anthony DµCosta (Gulshan Grover), who is also in search for the truth.

Chase, a first independent venture of Maverick Productions Pvt Ltd, is produced by Dr Anuuj J
Saxena and directed by renowned film personality Jag Mundhra. The other actors of the movie
include Sameer Kochar, Rajesh Khattar, Aditya Raj Kapoor and Gulshan Grover (Special
Appearance). Title track is from friedmusicbrain.com (singer Wajid). Music is given by Vijay
Verma (singers: Shaan & Shreya) and Udbhav Ojha (Singer: Vasundara Das). Mr Uday Tiwari is
the director photography, Mr Prateek Panddiya is editor, while the choreography is done by Raju
Khan and Feroz Khan. The background score is by Amar Mohile and sound design by Vikram
Biswas and Noel. Mr Ram Singh is the assistant editor.

The actor Anuuj is satisfied with µChase¶ for the while but the producer Anuuj has his hands full.
³My next project includes a movie that marks the debut of Chirag Paswan (Ram Vilas Paswan¶s
son) opposite Kangana Ranaut, which is being directed by Tanveer Khan. Three regional movies
are also in the pipeline,´ he adds.
