Operations have joined the team.

Systems through a successful IPO while
serving as VP for Research and
Development. Ray Shields and LaTesia

project managers, respectively, with a combined IT
experience of more than 34 years. This team really wants
to make a difference in how health care works and to
help people, in addition to wanting the company to be
successful. Add this energy to the talent we have on

Finance
and

the WorldDoc Rx product, joins Greg Orr,
head of the newly created Clinical Health
Solutions department.
In addition, WorldDoc is actively recruiting a VP of Sales to
lead the sales and marketing efforts. Prior to hiring a VP
of Sales, we wanted to make sure we had the processes in
place to handle the next wave of growth, says Tim Vavla,
VP of Finance and Operations. By June 2006, WorldDoc will
employ 35 staff members, an increase of over 50% from a
year ago. The new talent pool is an exciting indication of
WorldDocs thriving growth.
WorldDoc Foundation: LAC + USC , WorldDoc
and COPE Collaborate for Uninsured
Last year, the WorldDoc Charitable, Education and Research Foundation began to develop partnerships with
other nonprofits and government agencies in its goal to

provide access to uninsured, at-risk, and other vulnerable

populations who would not normally have access
to WorldDoc.
LAC + USC Medical Center, the largest single provider
of health care in L.A. County and the one of the busiest
public hospitals in the Western United States, has begun a
pilot program that utilizes a new version of WorldDoc Tx in
efforts to assist uninsured individuals find stable medical
homes, an effort that would curb repeated, unnecessary
use of the hospital.
The WorldDoc Tx care management platform is
currently undergoing enhancement to include the use of Care
Navigators to figure in medical, financial, and social
factors to help identify gaps in care for the high-risk
uninsured population.
COPE (Community Outreach for Prevention and Education)
is a partner in this endeavor. The success of this project
is creating more opportunities for the Foundation. All
of these contracts add value to WorldDocs image and
capacity in addition to touching individuals who can
benefit from having WorldDoc tools, says WorldDoc
Foundation CEO, Garth Winckler.
WorldDoc Begins Marketing Enterpriselevel Systems
Version 7.0 of MyHealth 24/7 is an upgraded version of
what was formally called the Personal Evaluation System
(PES). This major upgrade improves the look, usability, and
functionality of WorldDocs central product, increasing
MyHealth 24/s availability to Basic, Essential, and Enterprise
levels that allow for a wider solution set for customers.

WorldDoc also recently rolled out the next generation

of WorldDoc Tx, a care management system that allows
providers to focus on at-risk members to improve
compliance with health guidelines. A new version addresses
Medication Therapy Management requirements of the new
Medicare Part D Senior Coverage.
The new products also have led to expanded Clinical
Services; WorldDocs Diabetes Management program
conducted among Casino Coast employees resulted in
significant improvements in A1C scores and LDL Cholesterol
levels, an outcome soon to be featured in a journal article.
WorldDoc and Partners Continue Joint
Venture Success
HealthEquity, a provider of health savings accounts and
health debit cards, continues to use the WorldDoc 24/7
product as its health management platform. In the past
12 months, HealthEquity has broadened its reach to more
than 10 health plans. Together, HealthEquity and WorldDoc
offer a complete integrated solution. Consumer-driven
solutions require sophisticated health care tools like
WorldDocs product suite, says Dr. Stephen Neeleman,
HealthEquity CEO and President.
Similarly, MedImpact Healthcare Systems maintains its
success in offering the unique bundle of WorldDoc 24/7
and the MedImpact Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM)
product. WorldDocs care management system helps set
us apart from all other Pharmacy Benefits Management
products, says Fred Howe, MedImpact CEO and President.
To continue providing cutting-edge care management
systems, WorldDoc is actively seeking a strategic partner in
the disease management industry.
