Marking the vehicle after work has been carried

out
Affix a blue label:
part no.: 49 39 031 079 to the driver's side front
shock absorber turret.
Mark a cross in box I5 using a marker pen.

Customer complaint
Illumination of the ESP warning light on the
instrument panel.
Fault finding
Connect the CLIP diagnostic tool
Establish dialogue with the ABS / ESP computer.
Check for fault DF088 (pressure sensor circuit):
If fault DF088 is present (present or stored):
Carry out the operation.

CLAIM COMPLETION AND CODING

When to take action
Upon receipt of a customer complaint.

If fault DF088 is absent:

The vehicle is not affected by this OTS.
