Please write down your recent achievement for the last two years ?

Firstly, my involvement in competition and achevements starts in February

2012, when I became the Head of National Legislative Drafting Competition of
The Third Soediman Kartohadiprodjo Award. Later in 2012, I was one of the
participant in the seventh Mutiara Djokosoetono National Round Mooutcourt
Competition, that was held in University of Indonesia.
In the early 2013, I was the Researcher of The Second Runner Up Team of
National Round Jessup International Mootcourt Competition that was held by
Indonesian Society of International Law (ISIL) in Atmajaya, Jakarta. Following the
Jessup Competition, on November of 2013, I participated in the 2013 National
Round International Humanitarian Law Competition, in which I became top ten
best oralist in that was held in Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta. Former to
that, I was chosen among (mention how many other candidates) to be the
Representative of Indonesia, in International Network of Universities Student
Seminar on Global Citizenship and Peace that was held in Hiroshima University,
Japan.

Why do you want to join this event and what is your career / future study ?
First of all, Outstanding Student of The World 2014 will give me prestigious
experience for me. Not only academic experience but also soft skill. In this event,
it is mentioned that there will have a discussion, sharing information and also
meeting the experienced people in their own field. Therefore, I highly look
forward our communication skill will be enhanced.
Secondly, knowledge is the main goal in this event. In this matter, what make me
highly interested is the opportunity to meet the officials of Canadas Ministry of
Foreign Affair, members of parliament, trade and development, the international
organisation, students and lectures. I believe the experience will be invaluable to
support my knowledge for the future. Moreover, the destined country, Canada,
concerns deeply human right issue. Based on my deep passion to be involved in
human right issues, therefore I think this event will serve as a great opportunity
for me to build a good relationship, connection and collects valuable
experiences. I will surely utilize this event to dwelve more on how human right is
viewed with a different perspective and obtain knowledges on human rights
dispute settlement.
Aside from those matters, it will be very enriching experience to travel to
Canada. It has always been my dream to travel around the world, as well as
observing different, diverse cultures. On a personal gain, it will surely brought
pride to my parents, since I will be a representative of the Ministry of Foreign
Affair of Indonesian Republic, which halfly fulfills their dream of their daughter.
Regarding my career plan, in short time period, after I graduate I look forward to
be employed in a humanitarian organisation, for instance : International
Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) or United Nation of Human Right (UNHR).

Although I prefer to work within Indonesia, I am highly committed and am

prepared to be placed anywhere the employer assigns me. Following that, after I
achieve sufficient knowledge and experience, I am planning to study abroad and
take Post Conflict Development as my major. This is solely due to the recent
sporadic issue which involves civil war, and disrupts world peace and stability.
The real crisis arise post such conflict, where there exists the lack of proper
assistance towards those who are directly affected by the conflict, be it the
individuals or the state as an international entity. The lack of such assistance
kept the influenced in unfit conditions and often leads to latent harm that sparks
yet another conflict. This particular issue was the recent highlight that occured in
Indonesia, therefore I think this issue is an emerging issue and qualify as highly
concerning matter.
In long term goals, I plan to work in International Organisation. Working as an
expert in the developing post conflict issue settlement. Working on how to solve
the condition as either a consultant or a specialist for that particular issue is a
highly interesting and surely challenging that intrigues my passion.
In order to achieve that, I am sure an exeperience to be involved in OSTW will be
prove to be helpful. Knowing and sharing thoughts with those experts will give
me invaluable insight on how they view, regulate, and face a similar issue in
comparison and hopefully to be applied or at least considered to be transplanted
our developing country. This would be an interesting material for me to enrich
my knowledge and experience as a proud Indonesian citizen and further apply it
for the betterment of Indonesia with my own knowledge and effort.
