(a) A hotel bill for a number of people for overnight stay is Rs. 4800 ; if there

were 4 people more , the bill each person had to pay would have reduced

by Rs. 200 . Find the number of people staying overnight.

(b) A cylindrical beaker, whose base of radius of 15 cm, if filled with water up to

a height 0f 20 cm. A heavy iron spherical ball of radius 10 cm is dropped to

submerge completely in water in the beaker. Find the increase in the level

of water.
