War in the North!!

By Pierre Sur-coraislamy Scrivener to the Court of the Duc de Rheged.

The Slann continue to prosecute the war

against Chaos!
As the Nobles of Rheged slowly advance and expand it is only
the noble Slann who dare to take the fight to the forces of
Chaos. The great Forest of Orton has fallen to the relentless
Lizards, whilst rumours reach us of a force marching against
the lands surrounding The Skull Throne of Khorne. The
Bretonnians continue to lick their wounds after their savage
engagement with the greenskins whilst the Dwarves continue
with their nonsensical advance against an imagined enemy.

plump Rats in the ruins of a number of small villages.

Indeed he was somewhat perplexed as to the Dwarfs
attitude toward such succulent potential dinners.
There is a report of this battle on page 4 with a
commentary by Rufus Gamwich.

The Glorious Hosts of Tor Sarior

Prince Golnwaens advance has gorund to a halt as the
Prince begins to display his now legendary procrastination
having the entire army of Tor Sarior sit around
redistributing baggage and discussing possible tactics and
the dangers of advancing to the East. The Everqueen must
be getting sorely tired of her champions continued failure.

The Dwarves on the March

The Great Game

By Pierre Sur-coraislamy Scrivener to the Court of the
Duc de Rheged.

A treatise on the movements of the armies

of Rheged.
The Minions of Chaos
The mighty Chaos Warlord continues to cower in his
pitifully dank city. Running from the glorious hosts of the
Slann who are casting down his blasphemous idols with
impunity. Having already lost the Tower of Pestilence and
its environs, the great Bog Oak forest of Oorton has also
fallen to the armies of Tzacoatl. Rumour has also reached
us of a second Slann army advancing upon the Warlords
own temple to his debased God.

The Noble Armies of Caer Curwen

With the failure of the Bretonnians Lakeland adventure the
Nobles have been somewhat quiet. The defeated banner has
remained safely secured in the fortress of Castel Lorton.
Meanwhile in the North the Bretonnian forces continue to
advance through the lands of Tzacoatl toward the Coast. In
the East they continue their slow expansion toward the
moutnains of storm and liberating the Barony of Lyaisle.

The Throng of Karak Jhaz

The Dwarves have continued with their southerly advance
and continue to claim that they are engaged in battle against
some vile Rat mutants whoever our brave reporter Rufus
Gamwich states that all he has seen so far is three rather

The Empire of Barrowstown

The Emperor Elect continues to shore up his new power
base replacing anybody whose loyalty is not assured. His
forces have been stymied by the rapacious expansion of the
Dwarfs last year howerver the imperila Fleet have liberated
the Island County of Wahlneigh and its capital town of
Altenholm.

The Crooked Nose Tribe

Rumours abound of a new Warlord having come to the Cald
Beck. As of yet no one knows if Snazzgit is still in control
of Fell Skar Pike or if this new Warlord has taken over.
It is rumoured that this is a mighty Orc Warlord mounted
on a War Wyvern.
Following on from their savage engagement with the
Forces of Caer Curwenthe Waaagh of Cald Beck dug in
and prepared to face the slowly approaching Elves of Tor
Sarior.

The Eternal Realm of Tzacoatl

The Glorious forces of Tzacoatl continue to advance deeper
into the wastes, the Forest of Orton has been retaken and
the lands that were once known as Kirkbeamtun are now
being purified and cleansed. In the North the third sphere
have reportedly advanced on the Skull throne of Khorne, the
loss of such an important religious and psychological icon
will surely have dire consequences for the Blood Lord.

Clan Skragskritt
Apart from the rambings and deluded military actions of the
Dwarves there is no sign that any of these creatures exist.

The Rhegedian Chronicle 2

They did not have long to wait. Three giant rats

approached from the centre of the settlement. (Im not

sure that you can call 3 rats defenders)

The giant rats, without the guidance of any handlers,

(Erm not sure what sort of handlers Rats would

have.) marched straight towards the Dwarven line. As
they did, the sorcerous portal cast Soulblight upon the
surprised Dwarven Hammerers, causing a sickly
weakness to overcome them. Thankfully the effect
passed quickly. (I did see a flash of light as I bent

down to try and recover some of the Geiglestufle

mushrooms.)
The king raised his hand, signalling the line to hold
until the foe closed the distance.
This time the sorcerous portal cast Plague of Rust
upon the Dwarven Hammerers, causing their master
crafted armour to being to rot, shedding away gromril
in clouds of tiny flakes.
The giant rats marched straight towards the Dwarven
line again, reaching the mysterious river which turned
out to be a Necrotic Ooze. One of the rats succumbed to
the poisonous waters, but the other two, in an
unexpected show of bravery, held firm.

Dispatches
Hot from the front line.
First we have a report from the Dwarven armies with a
commentary from Rufus Gamwich.
The events of the second battle of the Campaign against the
Skaven, written by Morgrim, Son of Rukh, Third Scribe to
High King Grimli Lunnsson. (Aand a thoroughyly dull Dwarf

he is too!)
The 1st and 2nd Dwarven armies, led by the Rik Grimli
Lunnsson, The Wise himself, deployed in the outskirts of the
Nazrun Slave Pits. A small number of buildings were
scattered about, but the most significant features were a
mysterious river that cut through a quarter of the battle field and
a strangely glowing orb in the centre. (I found the entire area to

be quite a quaint tumble down ruin with some very interesting

flora especially mushrooms.)

The mysterious portal was thankfully silent as Rik

Grimli Lunnsson at last signalled The Organ Gun
Drung Uzkul to fire. Under the expert guidance of
Master Engineer Dok Dreksson the result was never
in doubt. The remaining giant rats vanished in a cloud
of destruction and the battle was over. (such a shame as

those Rats would have been delicious sauted over an

open fire with some butter, wild garlic, which was
growing quite abundantly, and thyme.)
Despite much grumbling from the Dwarven
Longbeards and the Dragon Slayer Zaki about the lack
of a decent battle, the Skaven had suffered a crushing
defeat. (as far as I could tell the Dwarfs seemed to be

less than convinced that these rats were the skaven of

legend.)
The giant rats were vanquished and the Nazrun Slave
Pits captured by the Dwarven forces (I didnt see any

slaves nor indeed a pit!)

Eyeing up the glowing orb warily, the dwarven forced deployed

in an impressive battle line and waited for the defenders. (I

never saw a glowing orb but I did watch as those clumsy

dwarves flattened an entire Circle of Geiglestufle lesser spotted
mushrooms, sacrilege!)
