I was responsible for Organising, preparing agendas for and taking minutes of board
meetings and annual general meetings (AGMs)ansd maintaining statutory books,
including registers of members, directors and secretaries. managing office space and
property and dealing with personnel administration.
This job also involved high degree of communication, co-ordination and sharing of prompt
information to other colleagues and higher level employees. dealing with correspondence,
collating information and writing reports, ensuring decisions made are communicated to the
relevant company stakeholders.moreover, contributing to meeting discussions as and when
required, and advising members of the legal, governance, accounting and tax implications of
proposed policies. entering into contractual agreements with suppliers and customers.
My performance was rewarded with new challenges such as training the newly hired people
into different roles.
Most recently, I was delighted to be selected for best employee. Moreover, a series of training
packages have been booked for me which will lead to the promotion into new higher by next
couple of months.
I learned for the first time to maintain databases and managed the data by using MS Excel, MS
Access related to the real world of work, although I had learned in my university classes.
Initially, I had joined it as a part time trainee and was to assist in different tasks coming across
all departments. My contribution to the business was realised, when my job was extended to a
full-time and permanent position involving multi-task oriented role.
With the multi-task oriented role, I was also handeled the customer support service, which was
basically related to handling of the queries from the customers regarding the IT services or
product they purchased. This helped to improve my communication skills .
As I worked across different departments, this job provided me a very good exposure of
multi-tasking.
I also demonstrated the skill of working in the most flexible working hours and also
achieved good performance in a new working environment. Hence, working in a new
environment is not a problem for me. I also firmly believe that constructive changes
always bring positive effect to the efficiency and constructive changes bring positive vibes
among the good work force.
