1. User Interface Description

User Interface is visual part of computer application or operating system through which
a user interacts with a computer or a software. It determines how commands are given to
the computer or the program and how information is displayed on the screen. Three
main types of user interfaces are
Command language: the user must know the machine and
program-specific instructions or codes.
Menus: user chooses the commands from lists displayed on the
screen.
Graphical user interface (GUI): user gives commands by selecting
and clicking on icons displayed on the screen.
a. Project Description

user interfaces for booking hotels and airline tickets services using an electronic user
interface s. This well-designed system includes consideration of the abilities and
limitations of users in the design of the systems operator interface.
Basic features include:
Ability to book a flight ticket from any airline company.

The above pictures show a sample mobile application user interface. The first figure is a
mobile application logo page and the other one on the right is choosing language screen.
c. Purpose
The key purpose of the project is to deeply understand travel constraints, whether
reservations or information related, and the type of users for the application, and the
issues and constraints that are involved in the problem. If the task is accomplished
through an existing system or interface, one should perform an interpretive evaluation of
that system or interface to help learn more about it.
d. Problems/Difficulties

2. UI Design Model Application

User Interface Design is the multi-disciplinary practice of crafting usable human-device
interfaces. Taking into account, among many things: user and organizational tasks, needs,
and goals; ease and simplicity of use; clarity and beauty of execution; flexibility and
scalability of the design across multiple devices.
Waterfall Lifecycle
Requirements:
Something that is needed or that must be done.

Something that is necessary for something else to happen or be done.

Analysis:
A philosophical method of exhibiting complex concepts or
propositions as compounds or functions of more basic ones.
The separating of any material or abstract entity into its
constituent elements (opposed to synthesis ).

A set of letters, numbers, symbols, etc., that is used to secretly send messages to
someone.

FINAL PROJECT/COURSEWORK
One of the most basic guidelines for improving a dialog's
usability is to provide feedback:

o Show the users their reservation information.

o Tell users how their reservation have been interpreted.
o Tell users what's happening.

Legibility
Text should be easy to read and speed of cognition by Adding
Text-Shadow to Custom Fonts. Should be able to determine a
useful font style. Ornamental fonts and text in all capital letters
are hard to read, but italics and bolding can be helpful when
used correctly. Large or small body text is also hard to read.
(Screen size of 10-12 pixel sans serif and 12-16 pixel serif is
recommended.) High figure-ground contrast between text and
background increases legibility. Dark text against a light
background is most legible.

Language:
There are certain types of language are needed. Short and
simple sentence structure. Unless the situation calls for it, do not
use jargon or technical terms. A user-centered design is focused
around the rhetorical situation. The rhetorical situation shapes
the design of an information medium. There are three elements
to consider in a rhetorical situation: audience, purpose, and
context.

Accessibility:
The user should get the information quickly and easily. And the
user should be offered the booking in various ways for trip and
hotel.
