 ABSTRACT

The Project work “Human Resource Audit in Rane (Madras) Ltd” is a study
about the effective functioning of human resource. Organisation should focus on
functioning of human resource in order to achieve their stretched goals and
objectives.

Rane (Madras) Ltd belongs to manufacturing sector with primarily focus on

producing steering gears for heavy, medium and utility vehicles. The company is
determined to know the functioning role of existing personnel team. The study
also covers variables human resource audit in working environment.

The survey based on formal interview and the response is obtained through
the questionnaire. The sample size of the research was 186 employees; random
sampling was adopted to conduct the survey and descriptive research design was
used. The data collected was analyzed through One way anova and frequency
mean.

Based on the results of the analysis, the valuable suggestions and

recommendations are provided to the organization.
