one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 God
showed how much he loved us by
sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real lovenot that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
11 Dear
friends, since God loved us that
much, we surely ought to love each other. 12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
13 And
God has given us his Spirit as
proof that we live in him and he in us.14 Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
15 All
who declare that Jesus is the Son of
God have God living in them, and they live in God. 16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
17 And
as we live in God, our love grows
more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.
18 Such
love has no fear, because perfect
love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 19 We love each other because he loved us first.
8 If
I were you, I would go to
God and present my case to him. 9 He does great things too marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.
1I
will exalt you, my God and King,
and praise your name forever and ever. 2 I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever. 3 Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness.
He does great things too
marvelous to understand. He performs countless miracles.
This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will
of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus. I am writing to Gods holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus. 2 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
3 All
praise to God, the Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. 4 Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
5 God
decided in advance to adopt us into
his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. 6 So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son
7 He
is so rich in kindness and grace
that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. 8 He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding.
9 God
has now revealed to us his
mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure. 10 And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christeverything in heaven and on earth.
11 Furthermore,
because we are united
with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.
12 Gods
purpose was that we
Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.
13 And
now you Gentiles have also heard
the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.
14 The
Spirit is Gods guarantee that he
will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

We must be a living proof that sin and Satan has been
defeated. In the church, family and everywhere, God expects us to live at peace with each other. God wants our Christian principle to be applied in all our social relationships especially within our home.
