controls, Emergency stops

, Power isolating switch

. Bone particles may fly

out of chute area use glasses.

PPE is supplied and should be used.
The Platform is to be cleaned regularly to avoid slippery surfaces developing and trip hazards.

Press online operations

2) Both presses need to be monitored at all times during processing to get the correct flow. The control
room will be able to make adjustments to the gate and the feed screw speeds until desired flow is
achieved on each press. ( Material quality can change in minutes causing press problems )
Monitoring of the press outlet chute

is essential so that the desired quality material goes to the

MBM room. If the MBM has too much tallow still in the material tell the control room they will change
diversion flap

and recycle the material to be re pressed.

3) If material is sticking in chute or slow feeding into the press stop the feed screw, button..
(If you are left handed stand to the left of the press
and use the wooden podging stick with
your gloved right hand keep both feet on the platform and dont reach down in the press chute.)
Slowly push material into pressing screw in top right corner

. ( It will only take the material as

fast and as soon as it wants to, so stay calm and be patient if after a few minutes no progress has
been made rocks . .can be slowly added to help material feed in.) When you have made a hole in
the blockage slowly work outwards to increase the hole size. Once cleared turn on the feed screw
again.
4) If metal parts stick to the chute stop the press feed screw button .and remove part ( Will be hot
wear gloves)
Place all metal parts in bucket provided restart feed screw
.
