Title Pin-less debit payment processing
Abstract This document describes tools for providing PIN-less debit (PLD) processing for a client, such as a
merchant. In some embodiments, the tools intercept a request from a client to process a payment
transaction for a consumer. If PLD processing is available for the transaction, the tools provide
an indication to the client that PLD processing is an available option for processing the payment
transaction. If the tools receive an indication that the consumer has opted to process the payment
as a PLD transaction, the tools negotiate with a payment processor for fulfillment of the payment
transaction. The tools are configured to handle one or more of the certification and compliance
procedures required to process PLD transactions with a payment processor, thus allowing the
client to process PLD transactions without having a direct payment processing relationship with a
payment processor that offers PLD transaction processing.

Title Object oriented system for managing complex financial instruments
Abstract Object oriented design strategies and patterns are applied to financial data processing systems
for processing and modeling of financial products (also referred to as financial instruments) with
an emphasis being on derivative products. The system employs valuation independent, well-
defined financial components (also referred to as financial events) that can be combined to
build new financial structures. A general purpose software model is provided for representing
the structure and characteristics of these products. A declarative specification language is
provided to describe financial instruments in a consistent manner that lends itself to processing in
such an object oriented system. A general traversal process is provided that can be applied
to the macro structure of a financial instrument to implement various functions that produce
results based on such information, such as the stream of financial events associated with the
instrument, or the pricing or valuation of the instrument. Techniques including double dispatch and
other mechanisms are further provided to provide flexible means of associating the appropriate
processing methods with the diverse range of instrument characteristics that are encountered in
a typical financial institution’s course of business.

Title Aircraft mro manager
Abstract Electronic aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) tools that improve an organizations
ability to manage nearly every phase of an aircraft maintenance visit. MRO management may be
implemented at the single aircraft level all the way up to the organization level including several
facilities each of which include several aircrafts. The disclosed MRO management solutions
assist with mapping out short term and long term planning; including manpower and material
and tooling requirements. Additionally, current and future workloads may be identified and
considered in advance of maintenance execution to significantly improve stakeholder satisfaction.
The methods and systems disclosed generate an electronic contract based on a bill of work to
control maintenance task execution, report progress of executing the tasks, and process scope
changes to the bill of work and the associated contract. Improved communication of financial
milestones and timely closure of both maintenance work and billing processes is facilitated by
generating billing invoices and processing electronic approvals based on the electronic contract
and the bill of work. Customer flexibility is improved by providing standalone management tools,
as well as integration with existing external systems. Additional features include supply chain
management and tooling controls necessitated by growing regulatory demands.

and which are ad hoc and then projects future cash flow. In one embodiment, the tool is configured
to use this projected cash flow data to make automatic recommendations on how the user can
save money in the future based on known offers and/or transactions made by others.

Title Funding on-line accounts
Abstract A system generates an identifier when a consumer deposits cash, where a new unique identifier
is generated with each transaction. The consumer receives the identifier and the identifier (along
with the amount of cash deposit) is communicated to a payment provider for storage. The
consumer may then access and fund an on-line account with the financial services provider by first
accessing the account and entering the unique character identifier, which the system processes.
If the identifier is valid, e.g., an actual stored identifier within the system associated with a cash
amount, then the system transfers that amount to the consumer’s account. At this point, the
consumer may use the account to make an on-line transaction or purchase with the newly funded
amount.
