The Elephant

The elephants are herbivores and eat all types of vegetation such as
grasses, leaves, and fruits. They have almost hairless skin, four legs, and a distinctive long, flexible,
prehensile trunk. The elephants which is also known as the largest of all land mammals usually live
in groups consisting of adult female elephant as the leader of the group, their children and their
relative female elephants.
The elephants also have very sharp auditory because they have big and wide ears. By these ears,
they can hear sounds from a distance about tens kilometer. At the back of the ears, they have one of
the softest parts of their body which is called the knuckle. In a zoo, Mahouts (elephant trainers) use
their feet to steer or give commands to the animal via tha knuckle. Now, they are a kind of protected
animals because their population remains little in their habitat. Their population began to decline
year by year.

Elephant
Elephant is one of the biggest animal in the world. This animal is from Africa. Elephant has a big
body. Its color is grey . they have almost hairless skin, has four legs. And its legs are very big and
very strong. Elephant has two wide ears. Elephant has two eyes that the eyes are black and small
enough. It has a trunk, and the trunk is long. Elephant has two long/pointed tooth and the name is
tusk. And this tusk, trunk and legs can be a weapon of elephant use to defense it self from the other
animal. And elephant has a short tail.

Elephant is a herbivore. It like to eat some plants such as grass, small trees, leaves, and fruit.
Because elephant is a big animal so it need to eat so much food to fill its need, and elephant
like so much to eat. Elephant is a tame animal. But if it become to angry it can become a
dangerous animal.
Elephant usually does its activity at morning until evening, if the night is coming, it usually
goes to sleep. Elephant is the strongest animal in the world. Elephant can pull down a big
tree, because of that some animals are very afraid to elephant. Although elephant is a big
animal, elephant can run about 40 - 60 km/s, so it is fast enough. The elephants habitat is at
tropic area such as Africa, Indonesia, etc. Elephant is a mammal so it has baby not egg and
the body of the female elephant is bigger than the body of the male elephant.

The Prambanan Hinduism Temple

Prambanan is a stunningly beautiful building which was built in the 10th century during the
supremacy of king Rakai Pikatan balitung. Risen as high as 47 feet (5 meters higher than Borobudur
Buddhist temple),the foundation of this temple has answered the expectation, to show Hindu triumph
in Java island. (IDENTIFICATION)
This temple is placed 17 kilometers from the central of the city, in the middle of the area that
becomes a beautiful park now. There is a common belief that Javanese people always tell about this
temple to their descent. Prambanan temple has three core temples in the primary yard, which are
named as Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva. The third temple represents Trimurti in Hindu belief. All those
three temples are facing east. Each of three main temples has an accompanying temple facing to
the west. They are Nandini temple for Shiva, Swan temple for Brahma, and Garuda temple for
Vishnu. Moreover, there are some other temples around. They are two temples wedge, four of the
temple curtain, and 4 temples in each edge. The second page of this temple has 224 temples.

Candi Hindu Prambanan
Prambanan adalah bangunan indah yang dibangun pada abad ke-10 pada masa pemerintahan raja
Rakai Pikatan Balitung. Didirikan setinggi 47 kaki (5 meter lebih tinggi dari Candi Borobudur), candi
ini telah memenuhi harapan untuk menunjukkan kejayaan Hindu di pulau Jawa.
Candi
ini berlokasi 17
kilometer
dari
pusat
kota,
di
daerah
tengah kota yang
sekarang menjadi taman yang indah. Ada kepercayaan umum bahwa orang Jawa selalu
menceritakan tentang candi ini kepada anak keturunan mereka. Candi Prambanan memiliki tiga
candi penting di halaman utama, yang dinamakan sebagai Wisnu, Brahma, dan Siwa. Ketiga candi
itu merupakan perwujudan Trimurti
dalam
kepercayaan
Hindu. Ketiga
candi tersebut
kesemuanya menghadap ke timur. Masing-masing dari tiga candi utama memiliki
sebuah candi yang menemaninya yang menghadap ke barat. Mereka adalah Candi Nandini untuk
Siwa, Candi Swan untuk Brahma, dan Candi Garuda untuk Wisnu. Selain itu, ada beberapa candi
lain di sekitarnya. Mereka adalah dua candi wedge, empat dari tabir Bait Suci, dan 4 candi sudut.
Halaman kedua candi ini memiliki 224 candi.

Prambanan temple is the largest Hindust temple complex in Indonesia. The temple was built in the 10th
century and was dedicated to Shiva. There are 8 big temples and 8 small temples at the main yard.
There are also 222 smaller temple at the lower yard.
Inside the big temples, there are statues. There are statues of Sviva, Brahma, and Visnu. They are the
Hindust three highest Gods. There are also other statues. One of the most popular is roro jonggrang
statues. The legend tells that it was actually a girl that cursed to be a stone.
There is also relief about Ramayana at the temple wall. And we can also see Ramayana Ballet Dance at
the temple complex at night.
