PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
1107 Advantage Grout DOT is a cement based prepackaged grout. 1107 Advantage Grout DOT is
non-corrosive, non-shrinking, and is formulated with
the highest quality ingredients.
PURPOSE:
1107 Advantage Grout DOT is designed for grouting of
anchor bolts, dowels, and other miscellaneous items in
concrete, as well as for placement in shear keys between prestressed concrete beams and hollow slab
units.

Placement:
Follow the standard grouting procedures and recommendations of ACI-351 for placement and curing of
grout. Grout can be rodded or vibrated, however, grout
should not be over-worked causing segregation. Take
care to remove all air voids. Placement and consolidation should be continuous for any one section of grout.
When nearby equipment causes vibration of the grout,
such equipment should be shut down during and for a
minimum of 8 hours after application.

1107 Advantage Grout DOT meets or exceeds requirements for these New York DOT specifications:
701-05 Concrete Grouting Material: For use in
grouting anchor bolts, dowels, and other miscellaneous items in concrete.
701-06 Cement Based Grout Materials For shear
Keys: Cement based grout for the placement in
shear keys between prestressed concrete beam
and hollow slab units.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Surface Preparation:
Remove all dirt, oil, and grease or contaminates from
the surfaces to be grouted. Remove all unsound or
loose material. When possible roughen adjacent concrete surfaces. Metals that will come in contact with
grout must be free of rust, paints, oils, and grease.
Provide air relief openings (vents) where needed to
avoid entrapment of air. Thoroughly wet all grouting
areas with water and keep wet at least 3 hours and
preferable 24 hours prior to placement of grout. Remove any excess surface water prior to placement.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
In hot or cold temperatures or unusual conditions such
as mass pours, thin layers, extreme temperature service, restraint of movement, or when long pumping
distances are anticipated, contact Dayton Superior for
specific recommendations.
CLEAN-UP:
Clean tools and spills immediately with clean water.
Hardened material will require an abrasive cleaning
method.
PACKAGING AND YIELD:
50 lb. (22.7 kg) multi wall, plastic lined bags. Approximate yield per bag: .43 ft3 (.0122 m3)
LIMITATIONS:
Handle 1107 Advantage Grout DOT as you would
concrete. Protect it against temperatures and
weather. Do not exceed ACI limitations on placement of grout.
Exposed finished grout should be cured.
Do not add any other cements, additives, or aggregates.
Do not retemper after initial mixing.
Placing grout at temperatures less than 45F (7C)
is not recommended.
WARNING:
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Product contains Portland Cement. Wash exposed skin areas with
water. May cause skin irritation and possible cement
burns. In case of eye contact, flood repeatedly with
water and call a physician. Do not take internally. Harmful if ingested. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet
(MSDS) for additional information

The purchaser must examine the product when received and promptly notify (the Company) in writing of any nonconformity before the product is used, or no later than 30 days after such non-conformity is first discovered. If (the
Company), in its sole discretion, determines that the product breached the above warranty, it will, in its sole discretion,
replace the non-conforming product, refund the purchase price or issue a credit in the amount of the purchase price. This
is the sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty.
Only a (Company) officer is authorized to modify this warranty. The sales information on the (the Companys)
website and received by the customer during the sales process does not supersede this warranty and the specifications of
the product in force on the date of sale. THE FOREGOING WARRANTY SHALL BE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF
ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OTHERWISE ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, CUSTOM, TRADE OR OTHERWISE.
Limitation of Liability Dayton Superior Chemical Division shall not be liable in contract or in tort (including, without
limitation, negligence, strict liability or otherwise) for loss of sales, revenues or profits; cost of capital or funds; business
interruption or cost of downtime, loss of use, damage to or loss of use of other property (real or personal); failure to realize
expected savings; frustration of economic or business expectations; claims by third parties (other than for bodily injury),
or economic losses of any kind; or for any special, incidental, indirect, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages
arising in any way out of the performance of, or failure to perform, this Agreement, even if (the Company) could
foresee or has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The Parties expressly agree that these limitations on
damages are allocations of risk constituting, in part, the consideration for this agreement, and also that such limitations shall
survive the determination of any court of competent jurisdiction that any remedy provided in these terms or available at
law fails of its essential purpose.
