TITLE : Ming Guas Method in Designing House

I.

INTRODUCTION

The Fengshui, the Yin-yang is a Chinese system of geomancy using the law
of both heaven and earth for harmony and balance of life with the positive Qi.
Fengshui is often used in architecture, for example temples, houses, shops etc.

and most of achitect applied Feng Shui in their own design. And many client demand
the architect to applied Feng Shui for their house.
Feng Shui not only concern in needs of space but also in balancing the owner
needs and connection with nature. Beside that, Feng Shui method also shown best
and worst side inside the house. So architect could used the positive and negative
result from that method.
II.

BODY PART
There is so many method that used to determined fengshui, such as structure
orientation, age, environment, vegetation, countour, soil quality and compass (wind
direction). One of the method is Ming Gua, or widely known as using your own birth
year to calculate your lucky and unlucky number to organize your house.To make
sure the audience understand what weve been telling, we will try to explain it with
an example. The method that we used for this house is Ming Gua.
Example: Client (Dara Agastya Winata, female) was born in 1995. She want to
design her house with Ming Guas method. This is the calculation to get her number.
1. First step, calculate the birth year, to get their number
Example : The person who born in 1995
= 1 + 9 + 9 +5 = 24 = 2 + 4 = 6
2. In Ming Guas method, theres a formula. If the owner is male, then his Ming
Guas number is 11 (put your number, that already you calculate before), the
result will be your Ming Guas number.
And if the owner is female, her Ming Guas number would be 4 + (put your
number, that already you calculate before).
Example : the owner is female
= 4 + 6 = 10
If you got 2 digits in your Ming Guas number, sum it again, until you have 1 digit
number
= 10 = 1 + 0 = 1
So, your Ming Guas number is 1.

After get the Ming Guas number, then refer to table to know lucky and unlucky
number.

After analyze the lucky and unlucky corner you can design your room. In this case, bedroom,
guest room and some parts of living room get positive energy and some rooms like kitchen,
bathroom in negative area.

III.

CONCLUSION

Fengshui is science of designing a home that is associated with nature .some

occupantsalready used fengshui to planning their own house to get a better life. And they
believed fengshui can improved their money, happiness and love. There is so many method
that used to determined fengshui, one of the method is Ming Gua, or widely known as using
your own birth year to calculate your lucky and unlucky number to organize your house.
