Anglim Celebrates Anniversary of Downtown Tasting Room


“It’s hard to believe it has been five years,”
says Steffanie Anglim. She is referring to the
opening of the Anglim tasting room in down-
town Paso Robles, which will celebrate its
fifth anniversary this month. Steve and Stef-
fanie Anglim started the winery in 2002 with
a focus on producing Rhône varietals from
boutique vineyards on California’s Central
Coast. Since then, the winery has grown to
about 3,000 cases a year with Rhônes still at
the core, including well-regarded Viognier,
Roussanne, Grenache, Mourvèdre and red
blends, along with limited-production family
favorites such as Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and
Cabernet Sauvignon. “We decided to partner
for our fruit, allowing me to have a Santa Rita
Hills Pinot Noir, for example, alongside a

uniquely distinctive of place” says winemaker
Steve Anglim. “I want to work with growers
who are as passionate about growing grapes
