Whatisprayer?Onapersonallevelmydefinitionis
thatprayerisdoinglifewithGod;beingin
relationshipwithhim;inconstantcommunicationwith
him.Prayerisconsciouslywalkingandtalkingwith
God.SothatwhenGodcallsustoprayer,Heiscalling
ustodolifewithHim.Ourwakingandsleeping,eating
anddrinking,privateandpublic;ourquietand
boisterouslives.Everydaylife.

andrights;conservativeandliberal,thisteamversesthat
teamDesperateHousewivesofAtlanta,Miami,OrangeCountyand
evenNewJersey.

HypnotizedbyhypewehavedriftedtoaplacefarfromGod,yet
westrivethroughourreligiousexercisestoatleastgiveGod
someofourtime.
JesuscontinuestocallcomecometomeallIwillgive
yourest.

Withthispreoccupationandselfishquestfor
intellectualandemotionalstimulation,whoisleftto
fulfilltheMasterscallto"healthesick,feedthe
hungry,andclothethenaked"?

Whoseesthesmokescreenandnoticesthatweare
"poor,blind,hungryandnaked"blindedbythemirage
ofcomfort.Pimpedbythepromiseofpleasureand
prosperity.
We'relookingforourownblessing,fillingourown
bellies,andcoveringourownnakednesswithdesigner
niceties.Allthewhilewejustifyourselfish
proclivitieswithappeasingmisinterpretationsofGods
wordsandmakeourselvestobeGodaswe"speak
thingsintoexistence"and"speakthosethingsthatare
not,asthoughtheywere".(Whilenothingchanges)
