This noise gate is the best noise gate I've ever used. Nobody in the world uses more gain than me. I have a gainy rack pre

amp that is very noisy. I also use distortion pedals to push the gain that much further. I owned all kinds of rack noise gates
that I had to sell cause they didn't do the trick. This pedal is awesome. I use so much gain that when I'm not playing
there's a ton of noise and this pedal eliminates it all. It even has a loop to get rid of your pedal noise too. So I run the
output to my pre amp to get rid of that noise and it gets rid of my pedal noise cause of the loop. I can't ask for anything
more than that. Don't be fooled. Just because it's not a rack mount noise gate doesn't mean it can't do the job. In fact it
can do the job much better and much cheaper!

Decimator or something along the lines of that. To get the full effect out of your pedal you have to utilize the Fx loop on
the pedal (Which might be difficult for some players.)

If you play high gain and have tons of noise (6505+) then the best way to use the NS2 is: Guitar --> OD pedal --> input
of of NS2 --> NS2 Send --> Amplifier input --> Amplifier Effect Loop Send --> NS2 Return --> NS2 Output --> Amplifier
Effect Loop Return. Awesome pedal for such a cheap price. It will suck some tone so if that's your concern and money is
not an issue then the ISP Decimator ProRack G and G-string are the way to go.

All I can say is this thing is amazing. I had a show last night and we were doing sound check and my amp was having
serious feedback and humming problems when the guitarist from a band that was coming on later asked if i wanted to use
his noise suppressor. I plugged it in and all my trouble were gone. No string noise what so ever, it was like the guitar
volume was off. The chugging still went through and the chords sustained right, it was perfect. I recommend this to any
gigging guitarist out there, definitely worth your cash.

I bought this unit used at a local music shop today. No manual, etc. Once I finally figured out the correct configuration of
my cables, I went crazy. My rig consists of a Bugera 6260 (modded with Mesa 440 tubes), with a Boss Ml-2 for distortion,
a Dunlop Slash wah, and a stock ibanez art 100. The feedback from the distortion pedal was killing my performance no
matter how much I rolled back the gain level, which took away my ability for pinch harmonics. However, when I put this in
my chain it kept alot of the noise at bay. It mostly just cuts out noise when you are not playing, however does not act as
a gate so you may get some noise while you are playing. I'm still tweaking the settings to my liking but am very happy
with the results. It does exactly what it says. Thank you, Boss!!
