General Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the management of three diverse fundraising campaigns, which requires superior
multi-tasking and communication skills. In my role, I manage the PR and marketing for each campaign through
print and online mediums in addition to publicly presenting in an effort to educate and recruit. In this position, I
took on the role of developing marketing plans for the chapter, utilizing social media, print, online, and viral
efforts that were never before implemented. This includes managing campaign Facebook and Twitter accounts,
in addition to developing a Chapter Blog. This position also manages event logistics and execution for each
campaign. The role is responsible for leading participant & committee recruitment, support, and retention in
addition to soliciting and cultivating sponsors, while also training and managing volunteers and tele-recruiters.

General Responsibilities
As second in command for the entire event, this role’s primary responsibilities included directing the efforts of
coordinators in seven host towns to prepare for the overnight stay of over 3,000 people, management of
community efforts to organize lodging, security, facilities, entertainment, and food. This role is responsible for
marketing, promotions, and public relations efforts that generated in excess of 200 million media impressions.
Added duties include, planning and executing advertising and marketing campaigns while working directly with
vendors to create and distribute marketing collateral, POP materials, event teaser ads, and PR materials. The
solicitation and cultivation of tour sponsors and vendors, in addition to the supervision of the event budget,
revenue and expenses in excess of $850,000 are also important functions of this position. Additional
responsibilities include training and managing over 80 volunteers and the event staff.
