Here are 3 of the most famous Rhythmic Gymnastics Olympians:

Anna Bessonovais the winner of 2 Olympic medals and 58 medals for other Rhythmic
Gymnastics competitions. Bessonova began rhythmic gymnastics training at age five. She
made her Olympic debut and won the bronze individual all-around medals at the 2004
Athens Olympics with a total score of 106.700. She also won the all-around bronze medal
at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Ekaterina Serebrianskaya
She is the 1996 Olympics gold medalist, the 1995 World All-around champion and a two time
(1995,1996) European All-around champion.She started gymnastics in 1982 at age 4, with her mother
Liubov as her coach at the Gratsia club in Simferopol. She later moved to the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, to
train at the Deriugins School.At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Serebrianska's technical strength won her
the gold medal, although she had a slight fumble with the ribbon before her final toss. She was ahead of
her closest rival, Russia's YaninaBatyrchina by 0.150 points going into the ribbon routine, who
competed before her and dropped the ribbon.

Kabaeva started Rhythmic Gymnastics at age 3, with Coach Margarita Samuilovna. [3] Kabaeva's
father, Marat Kabayev, was a professional football player, and the family was constantly following
him to different places in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Russia. In her young teens, Kabaeva
moved to Russia, where her mother took her to the Russian Head Coach, Irina Viner, who liked
her from the start.
At the 2000 Sydney Olympics, in Australia, Kabaeva was expected to claim Gold in All-Around;
however, due to an error in an otherwise exceptional performanceshe dropped her hoop, and
ran to retrieve it outside of the competition areaKabaeva won the Bronze Medal, with the final
score of 39.466 (Rope 9.925, Hoop 9.641, Ball 9.950, Ribbon 9.950).
