Giving Update
The ministry of SHC is funded entirely by the
generous giving of Gods people. You will
notice that we do not pass the offering plate;
however, there are offering boxes in the back
of the auditorium. We believe from the Word
of God that the Spirit of God will lead people
towards giving back to God of their first fruits.
...God loves a cheerful giver, (2 Cor. 9:7).

Please prayerfully consider what the Lord

would have you do.

Our Purpose
Love God.
Love Others.
Reach The World.
We proclaim Him, admonishing every
man and teaching every man with all
wisdom, so that we may present every
man complete in Christ. For this
purpose also I labor, striving according
to His power, which mightily works
within me. Colossians 1:28-29

Part 3
The Daily Flow
Flow
Matthew 28:1928:19-20;
20; Colossians 1

Presented by
Pastor Justin Greene
April 17, 2016
Consider the marvelous way our bodies work. Compared to
a Ferrari, Rolex, or the luxury features at the Four Seasons,
our bodies are far more beautiful, complex, rare, and amazing.
The psalmist came to the same conclusion as my son did
when he said, I praise you because I am fearfully and

wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full

well.1
Think about our bodys ability to protect and maintain
itself. The intricacies of our eyes are more complex than any
microscope ever developed. Robotic research has yet to come
up with hands whose dexterity compares with ours. An
alliance between Apple, IBM, and Microsoft would be hard
pressed to invent a supercomputer that can come close to
functioning the way our brains do. Even at birth a babys brain
contains one million million (1,000,000,000,000) brain cells,
or neurons.2

And what about our hearts the tiniest, quietest pump

of its kind that runs 24/7 moving liters of liquid perpetually
while incredibly powered by a small amount of nutrition in the
form of grains, fruits, proteins, and water? Then think of the
design of our circulatory, digestive, immune, respiratory, and
reproductive systems. What craftsmanship and attention to
detail. The strands of hair, nails, skin, muscles, capillaries,
and bones not only grow but also replenish and even heal
themselves, and they are all assembled in perfect harmony and
work together as one. It is simply amazing!
When it comes to being rare, God has created such a
variety of people that each has his own distinct intrinsic value.
We are of different races, shapes, sizes, and colors, and we are
each so rare that no two human beings have the same set of
fingerprints.3
Do you see the people around you as valuable; worthy of investment?
How would you rate your effort to make connections and share Christ in
our community? In our final session lets consider why this is important.

what we have learned

The church is called to make disciples.

One of the key signs of a SpiritSpirit-filled disciple is proclamation of the

word about Christ.

hearing
ring a story to
The goal of short term missions is to take you from hea
living a story.

Thought: You will live most of your story here.

THE DAILY FLOW

A disciple lives for his Savior.
The right path is His path.

A disciple allows Christ to love others through him.

We are called to sacrifice and serve with lips and life!
We are called to view others
others as souls, not sales.

A disciple worships.
We all worship ... Its what and with whom that matters.

OBJECTIONS
Im not important enough.
I dont know God well enough.

I dont feel powerful enough.

enough.

I dont know what to say.

Cant I just support an evangelist?
