ACTION GROUP MEETING - SEVEN STEP METHOD

Brothers and Sisters let us pause for a while, cleanse our
minds from all the troubles, wonies and problems confronting
us at the moment.
Let us pray-- In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, Amen.
Brothers and Sisters in the silence of our hearts let us seek
from our ever merciful Lord, His compassion for whatever
transgressions, wrongdoings, acts we have committed that are
not in accordance to His will.
In silence, let us also offer our Thanksgiving to the good Lord
for all the gifts, graces, blessings He has showered us.
Let us implore and feel the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ
thru the song-

Would someone please invite the Lord Jesus in our prayer and
worship?

reading? (Please read the rexr again if possible from

We pick up words or snort phrases and read them aloud
prayerfully and keep silence in berween. (We read rhe
whole rexr again). We keep silence for a few minutes and
allow Cod ro speak ro us.

We SHARE what we have heard and which word has

touched us personally.
After the sharing, we discuss any task which our group
is called to do.

Lord God the Almighty we pray for your intercession to grant

all our concems, our needs. We continue to seek your mercy
Lord, everytime we forget to follow Your commandments and
failing to act so that we your servants will not fall into sins. We
thank you Lord for providing us the time in this Action Group
activity and protection on our way home. We culminate this
spiritual activity, full of hopes as we beseech You Lord of Your
loving care for us, to all our brothers and sisters in the
community and the whole Christian world.

THE SEVENTH -STEP METHOD

GROUP RESPONSE METHOD

In this method we shall think of our BCBPcommunity, our families, our
works situation. After we have read the text of the Bible, we shall ask the
question: "Which problem in our BCBPcommunity, work situation, or
family is mentioned in the text? What is God's will for us as a group?
THE SEVENTH -STEP METHOD

1. Would someone please invite the Lord in a prayer

2. We read the text
Would someone read the text again from a different version
3. We pick up words or phrases, read them out prayerfully
three times and keep silence in between
4. Which problem of our BCBPcommunity, family or business
are mentioned in the text.
a) Let us discuss in buzz group with our neighbor the
following:

professions are similar to the ones mentioned in the
text.
We discussfor five minutes, afterwards every group
reports back.
Let us choose one problem for further discussion.

What does God tell us about our problem?

a) We keep silence for three minutes and let God speak for us
about the problem.
b) We share what we heard from God.

LOOK, LISTEN & LOVE METHOD

Introduction

Today we do not begin our meeting by reading the word of God,

but we begin by looking at the reality of our daily life. We follow the
steps of Look- Listen-Love Method

Prayer

Would someone please invite the Lord in prayer.

LOOK at life

We ask several of the group to relate a recent experience.

Please tell us of a recent experience, which you found important
an event in which you were involved personally. Please tell us
briefly in a few words. It can be an event at wor!<or in public life.
Let us now select one of these experiences for further discussion
The facilitator leads the discussion and asks the following
questions:
What exactly happened?
Why did it happen?
How do you feel about it?

LISTENto God What does God think and feel about the event?
Let us listen lor three(3)minutes in silence to God.
In these IfNI minutesof silence let us put aside OUf own feelings about
this eventand listen carefullyto how God thinksand feels aboutthis
event We do not open our Bibles but remember silentlywords or events,
which we already knowfrom the Bible. We imagineif God were to speak
