Presidency Message, Jenny Chamberlain

Dear Sisters,
A couple of weeks ago I was visiting with my dad. He asked me a question that
has been on my mind ever since. I would ask you the same question: What are you do-

when we do the essential things there is often time for the nice things, but rarely is it the
other way around. Sisters, those essential things are what will ensure our eternal salva-
tion. Let’s not just hope it’s going to work out, let’s make sure it’s going to by choosing
carefully how we spend our time each day. Paraphrasing the Bishop, Sister Kaye said,

to be that strong woman, to be bold in standing up for righteousness and to help build
His kingdom. We are being called upon to make the changes in our lives that need to be
made. It’s a choice, every day. I want to see each one of you when we get back to our
Heavenly Father. So, together, today, let’s make the choice to do those things ESSEN-
TIAL to our eternal salvation so we can do as Sister Lucy Mack Smith said, “ all sit down
in heaven together”.
