President of an organization
The President is the primary student contact for the student organization and the external
spokesperson of the group who regularly interacts with other student organizations and
University officials. He or she is the liaison between the student organization and the advisor
and other University or community contacts.

Task
Ensure that the goals of the organization for the term will be met.
Provide assistance for the whole executive board and members of the
organization.
Assume responsibility for the administration of the organization in all aspect.
Create a program or strategies for the sustainability of the organization.

Set goals for the organization which must be clear and attainable.
Continuously monitor the clubs progress toward goal accomplishment and the
activities and responsibilities of all officers.

The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to
meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by
whom the presidents business was conducted. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, and
subject to the organization's bylaws, the Secretary records minutes of meetings, ensures their
accuracy, and availability, proposes policies and practices, submits various reports to the board,
maintains membership records, fulfills any other requirements and performs other duties as the
need arises and/or as defined in the bylaws.
