President of an organization
The President is the primary student contact for the student organization and the external
spokesperson of the group who regularly interacts with other student organizations and
University officials. He or she is the liaison between the student organization and the advisor
and other University or community contacts.

Job Description
Task

Ensure that the goals of the organization for the term will be met.
Provide assistance for the whole executive board and members of the
organization.
Assume responsibility for the administration of the organization in all aspect.
Create a program or strategies for the sustainability of the organization.

Duties

Set goals for the organization which must be clear and attainable.
Continuously monitor the clubs progress toward goal accomplishment and the
activities and responsibilities of all officers.
Make it apparent that you are concerned about your club and willing to help.
Seek input from the board and explore alternatives before making important
decisions especially when dealing with problems.
Make certain that all members are active and involved throughout the year.

Responsibilities

Calls for special meetings and presides at all meetings of the organization.
Represents organization at official functions.
Maintains contact with organization advisor and organization alumni.
Maintains contact with the head/national organization.
Remains fair and impartial during organization decision making processes.

The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to

The treasurer is the primary student contact that concerns the financial
situation of an organization. He/she handles the allocation of the budget,
administers the financial assets and liabilities and basically the one in charge
with the money of the organization.
