My Dear Eastern Kentucky Friends and Colleagues,

Greetings in the Name of the Lord.
Jesus paid a great price for our victory today!!! I believe there is a great moving of God will sweeping
across our District. During the past several weeks each of our churches walked through Holy Week and celebrated Resurrection Sunday. I have had many great reports of Gods hand in our services. On the Eastern
Kentucky District, we had over 6300 in worship for Easter Sunday. As a district we averaged 3936 in morning worship last church year. This means that for Easter we nearly doubled. PTL! Many of our pastors shared
with me about new conversions, rededications, sanctifications, baptisms, membership, communion, healing,
and the list goes on. I rejoice in what God is doing!!! We have much to be thankful for on the EKD.
I would like to share with you some pertinent information;
Year End Items:
Please prepare your annual reports and get them to our District Secretary, Dwayne Mills by the due date of
May 15, or sooner.
Remember the church year ends April 30th Annual meetings and elections should be completed before
April 30th.
Please send in your budget amounts ASAP. Lets all work at being 100% paid in full.
Please also send in your Historical Church summaries by May 1st.

April showers usually bring May flowers,

but this year, those showers have brought us brutally
cold weatherbut God is good and is now sending
us warm, wonderful weather to enjoy.
In a recent revival meeting, the evangelist
led us in singing a beautiful chorus that I want to
share with you as a possible anthem to sing to God
each morning and/or evening as you begin and end
your day:
I Stand in Awe
And I stand, I stand in awe of You,
I stand, I stand in awe of You;
Holy God, to whom all praise is due,
I stand in awe of You.
You are beautiful beyond description
Too marvelous for words;
Too wonderful for comprehension,
Like nothing ever seen or heard.

Majesty enthroned above!
What a beautiful tribute to our Holy God!
