The purpose of this document is to detail out the standard procedure to ensure
smooth, safe checking of ETS Interlock and Protection to increase the reliability &
ensure the healthiness of system.
2. TECHNICAL SPCIFICATION
OEM Guidelines : Annexure-I
3. RESPONSIBILITY
Area In charge C&I Department
1. To apply for permit as per the schedule.
2. Ensure necessary isolations before starting the work.
3. To ensure the completion of the activities as per the SMP and to check all the
parameters as per the check list.
4. Ensure housekeeping after completing the work.
5. Returning the permit.
Shift Manager Operation
1. To ensure availability of the equipment for maintenance as per planned time interval.
2. To ensure issuance of Work Permit complying with the safety requirements as
required.
3. To ensure Isolations done as per SOP.
4. Cancellation of the Work Permit after completion of the work.
5. Normalization of the system and trial run.

Close the Inlet isolating valve for two oil pressure switches & open the Drain
valve .Observe the Changeover of the switch contacts (NO contact to NC contact).
3.3 Ensure the STATUS of Turbine trip in SOE (Sequence of Events) and ALARM
History. Note down the FIRST OUT cause for TRIP.
3.4 Normalize the isolation and close the drain of switches.
Connect the portable vaccume calibrator instrument, and set the vaccume up to
the -100KPa.

reduce the setting near to zero. Check for the high vibration.

13.4 Normalise the setting of HP-Differential Expansion upper danger alarm
6.20mm and lower danger alarm -3.20mm.

harness etc.
