Draining

Switch off ignition.

Open fuel filler door and remove cap from AdBlue tank filler
neck.

Introduce extraction hose (2) into the AdBlue tank filler neck.

i Observe arrow on the extraction pump (1) for direction of
suction. Turn extraction hose (2) around the longitudinal axis if
necessary, in order to fit constriction into the filler neck.

Suction off AdBlue out of the AdBlue tank using the

extraction pump (1) and extraction hose (2) over the filler neck,
catch it and remove in an environmentally friendly way.

Pull extraction hose (2) out if the filler neck.
Cleaning

Clean extraction pump (1) and extraction hose (2).

p Thoroughly flush out extraction pump (1) and extraction

hose (2) with water.
Otherwise damage will occur.
Fill out of the container (05) (10 l can)
p The filling tools are designed in such a way as to leave an unfilled
space in the AdBlue tank after switching off. Never pour in further
AdBlue after switching off.
Damage could occur to the emission control system otherwise.

Mount fitting (01) and close off valves (02).

Tighten connector (04) on container (05) and connector (03) on AdBlue tank filler
neck finger-tight.

Lift the container (05), open valves (02) and fill AdBlue tank.
i Repeat process if necessary with further containers (05). No further AdBlue will
flow when the AdBlue tank is full.

Close valves (02), detach connections (03, 04) and dispose of container (05) in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Otherwise damage will occur.

Clean filling tool.

Fill out of the container (06) (5 l can) using a one-way hose (07)

Screw one-way hose (07) onto container (06) and AdBlue tank filler neck finger-tight.

Lift container (06) and fill AdBlue tank.

i Repeat process if necessary with further containers (06). No further AdBlue will
flow when the AdBlue tank is full.

Detach one-way hose (07) from AdBlue tank filler neck and dispose of container (06)
as well as the one-way hose (07) in an environmentally friendly manner.

Remove cap from AdBlue bottle (08) and screw AdBlue bottle (08) onto AdBlue
tank filler neck.

Press AdBlue bottle (08) onto AdBlue tank filler neck and fill AdBlue tank.
i Repeat process if necessary using further AdBlue bottles (08). No further
AdBlue will flow when the AdBlue tank is full.

Detach AdBlue bottle (08) from AdBlue tank filler neck and dispose of it in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Remove rest of the AdBlue with water and close fuel filler
door.

Attach STAR DIAGNOSIS and write fill level of AdBlue tank

into the AdBlue control unit.

Attach cap onto AdBlue tank filler neck.
