The Denton Family History Center is a resource
for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-Day Saints. The DFHC aids the research
and orginzation of your LDS ancestors. This
research is for your personal benefit and it
prepares the names of your ancestors for temple
ordinaces.
We are also open to the
entire Denton community.
You do not need to be
LDS to use us. Please call

What Is The Church Of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
is a church founded on the belief that God loves
everyone. We believe that God the Father and
Jesus Christ visited Joseph Smith, Jr. in 1820.
We share common beliefs with many other
Christian religions. Believers are referred to as
Mormons.

We have hard copies of several important
sources of data. We also have access to
microfiche, microfilm, books and magazines.
Tip: We have to order some of
the periodicals, microfilm and
microfiche from the Temple in Salt
Lake City. Call us before you come to
make sure we have what you need.

geneaology is so important.
 At the Denton Family History Center,
we’ve succesfully traced over 1,000
ancestors.
 If you find an ancestor who wasn’t
baptized, you can be baptized for them.
