The purpose of specification change in E-DOC

Release restrictions, increase ease of legibility and use of E-DOC

been generated due to security patch etc. Specification change in E-DOC

has been implemented with a view toward clearing these issues.
Furthermore, we aim at increasing ease of legibility and use of E-DOC by
reviewing its style. The main changes are as follows:
- Changed how to display images in Chapter 4.
- Deleted image scroll bar.
- Sorted an index in order of character strings.
- Improved display when an index NVM has two or more rows.
- Fully displayed Chapter 6 NVM table.
- Highlighted in red when Chapter 6 NVM is selected.
- Improved hot spot of the part list.

2. Summary of the installation procedure of a common file (Compliant with

new E-DOC. See "Instructions_for_Installing_New_EDoc" for details.)

Note: In the case where new E-DOC has been already installed, it is not
necessary to install the common file.

Procedure summary
(1) Download a common file for new E-DOC to PSW.
(2) Double-click the common file [common.install_e.exe] and uncompress
Common_e file to c:\edoc in the case of a default. (Password is not
required.)

3. Installation procedure summary for new E-DOC (full installation

version)
Procedure summary
There are the following two ways of installation methods. Select either one
and install it.
(1) Recommended: Use a USB memory.
(2) Install by uncompressing and transcribing the file directly under the HDD
(where E-DOC has not been stored).
Note: For those who installed E-DOC in D drive, transcribe it to C drive.
Installation procedure summary (See "Net distribution E-DOC

<Procedure summary A (Method to use USB)>
Note: When using a USB memory, it is recommended to keep it empty state.
(1) Download E-DOC from the following URL to your PC.
(2) Uncompress the compressed file.

of the E-DOC installed has been updated by opening the top screen of the
E-DOC (Edoc.htm).

(3) Transcribe all the files in the uncompressed folder under the root of a USB
memory. (Delete the folder in PC after finished transcribing.)
(4) Double-click Setup.exe directly under within the USB memory.
(5) Subsequent procedure is the same as normal E-DOC installation
procedure.

<Procedure summary B (Method to use drives other than those in which

E-DOC is stored.)>
(1) Download E-DOC from the following URL to your PSW.
(2) Uncompress the compressed file. (Uncompressing password: tdlcsdec)
(3) Transcribe all the files in the uncompressed folder directly under D drive.
Note: For those who installed E-DOC in D drive, transcribe the files to C
drive. Since the list information (bookname.htm) will be disappeared if
you install the files in the same drive, the table of contents in the
manual on the top screen will be lost causing inaccessible trouble to
occur, so never transcribe the files to the same drive.
(4) Double-click Setup.exe directly under the D drive (or directly under the C
drive).
(5) Subsequent procedure is the same as normal E-DOC installation procedure.
(6) Delete all the files transcribed directly under D drive (or C drive) after
installation.
Check whether installation is securely completed and that the title of the
E-DOC installed has been added by opening the top screen of the EDOC (Edoc.htm).

4. Installation procedure summary of a difference fileProcedure summary

(1) Download a difference information file to your PC.
(2) Uncompress the difference information file and double-click the
uncompressed file.

(3) Click [OK] by following the message.
(4) Check whether updating is securely completed and that the version number
