Yavapai College will be hosting the third annual Teacher Academy in Prescott and the
Verde Valley this June and July. Teachers will have the option to choose from two
different dates in Prescott.

This year’s teacher academy is designed for educators in diverse K-12 settings. The
emphasis will take place on how you design, develop, evaluate and implement
technology effectively into instruction and the impact emerging technologies have on
the educational environment. This immersive day-long workshop will provide K-12
instructors with the opportunity to create content that is immediately useful in the
classroom. Topics covered include web 2.0 tools such as:
* Blogs * ePortfolios
* Wikis * Document and Photo Sharing
* Social networks * Web Conferencing

The fee for this day long academy is $25.00. Breakfast and lunch are included in this event!
