The Executive Branch


Leadership Team
Leader – The leader is ultimately responsible for the 3 positions (General, Home
Secretary and Diplomat). The leader must supervise these positions if he feels necessary
for the success of the alliance. He oversees the operation of the entire alliance and makes
sure each member is token care of. For example, if a player has requested, supplies or
help and is not getting the help the player needs the leader must step in to aide that
player. The Leader must have knowledge of the area where he is at and the kind of
players that have signed up in his alliance. The Leader must have excellent
communication skills and must not choose sides. The leader must clarify organizational
goals and mission and support the alliance with his time and log in daily to take care the
alliance and must if not able to log in communicate via forum.

High Council member – The council member must have been a leader in another
alliance or recognized in this alliance for superior job performance by the leader, the
player must be well-organized detail orientated, able to adapt to changes rapidly, have
common sense, be able to log on daily, able not only to defend them self but help others
if needed to preserve peace and prosperity of the alliance. The position requires the high
council member to fill the role as leader so they must have enough embassy points to
support the alliance if something were to happen to the leader. The leadership team have
the final say in all matters in UEMP. IF the leader is incapacitated in any way, on
vacation the #1 chair high council member becomes the new leader in the alliance.

Motivation or Moral Team


Home Secretary = The home secretary main role is to make changes in the internal
alliance page and must realize all changes must be approved by either the high council
member that knows that the leader would approve or if the leader is on vacation or in a
way incapacitated that the leader can not get back to his role for a time and that member
that is in the first seat of the high council will be the leader. The home secretary other
role is to approve applications. Right now all applications are being accepted which
makes the that role very easy but must be aware of the changes with in the structure of
the alliance and keep communicating with the leader very clear when changes do happen
and the alliance either is no longer accepting applications or the standards have changed.
The Home Secretary will be chosen by the leader specifically because of the experience
that player brings to the alliance. The motivation that player has to perform excellently
and the player must be able to handle deadlines and project given by the leadership team
and supervise the motivation and moral team members, teach and train those in the team
who need it.

Information Security = The Information Security Officer main responsibility is to guide


and help and train alliance members to become more security aware. The officer will do
Random check on alliance members to check there spy huts, defenses, walls and will
report to the leadership team of his findings. The officer will also report to the player his
findings. The officer will work special projects that leadership determines to promote
safety and any intelligence that is needed to attack an aggressor. The officer will monitor
all communications with in the alliance to make sure, there is no profanity, cuss and any
other forms of communication that is against the rules of Ikariam and the dignity and
honor of the players here.

Administrative Officer = The administrative officer is in charge of announcements,


birthdays, when some one is new to the alliance, chat room fun, the person must be
creative and think of ways to increase participation among our members.

Tech Guru = This Tech Guru is in charge of the forums, the creation of new forum and
web sites chat rooms and is the person to go if the alliance has any questions on technical
issues.

Admin Apprentice = The Admin apprentice is here to learn the ropes of the office, the
Apprentice can do menial tasks that the Home Secretary determines or the Administrative
Officer. Example look up why a player is inactive/vacation and report back to the Home
Secretary.

Culture and Communication Team


Diplomat = The Diplomat main role is to keep the peace, settle things between alliances
before they get out of hand. The Diplomat other role is to supervise the culture and
communication team members which compose mostly of ambassadors. The diplomat
other role is to update the external alliance page and make sure he communicates to the
Leadership team before he makes changes and get prior approval. The diplomat must
make sure each member does there job and if there is not an ambassador to fill in must
take the place of that ambassador and get the job done. The diplomat must communicate
and coordinate all CT’s and supply and war status with the leadership team either via
forum or by email. The diplomat must keep the alliance informed of these request for the
stability and peace of United Empire. The diplomat must follow all orders from the
leadership team when it comes to pursuing mergers, peace treaties. The diplomat can
make peace treaties with other alliance and naps but must rely on the leadership team for
guidance to where they want to steer the alliance and in what direction so the diplomat
can effectively do the job.
Ambassador = the main function of this job is to gather information about our allies,
friends and close relation and share that information to the alliance, every week the
ambassador is to make a report that is below and share with the diplomat / alliance this
report will be as follows: note the report must look exactly like this……

Safety Defense Supply and Gold Team

Secretary of Finance
The first job will be the Secretary of Finance - This player will have need to be able to
introduce gold into our markets. The secretary of finance will work with the leadership
team very closely and form goals with in the alliance so that all our supply and gold
needs are met. The player will have a team of resource managers and that is all they do is
buy UEMP mats and fill orders put in by the markets.

Goals of the team:


• Make income
• purchase wood or other mats on your day of choice, and buy and sell UEMP only
• kick start the alliance market system.

Bank Manager / Resource Manager


This position would help the alliance in making gold, they will need to come up with a
plan with the secretary of finance to manage their colonies appropriately to not only fill
the need of the alliance but grow them self and manage each sector they are assigned
to...and fulfill all goals of the team.

Supply Manager
This position works with all management staff that work with the Secretary of Finance,
the supply manger is directly responsible as the go to guy to make sure that all needs of
the alliance is met as far as supplies are concerned. Update internal forum of all needs
with request from members when they see and external posting. Will follow up with all
members specific needs and immediately notify leadership team if that need was not met
with in two days.

Alliance Advisor = The alliance advisor is responsible for any questions the player has in
the game, he can give suggestion to the alliance, offer assistance in any circumstances
that govern the politics in the area and can advise only. It is up to the player to comply to
the advisor and make appropriate changes if that player wants to.

Military Advisor = The military advisor is responsible for the alliance strategic
planning in war and in peace and gives ideas and suggestions to the armed forces
committee and needs to regularly attend those meetings.

Membership Board Advisor =The membership board advisor is responsible for


recommendations for dismal and discipline for each member in the alliance.
United Empire Wellness Team
Member Advocate = The member advocate is responsible for the internal complaints in
the alliance, keeping in touch with each member and have a way to contact each member,
the member advocate is there to defend each player in a conflict with personal life. The
member is responsible to put out surveys that tell the leadership what is happening in the
alliance and satisfaction. The idea behind the position is to create a synergetic experience
with the members and really understand them as people too with lives.

Department of the Armed Forces-a committee that every enlisted/officer is apart of


1) Open to all ranks to participate
2) Will vote and discuss issues all issues concerning defense
3) Will have a president to run the committee which has to be an enlisted or officer
of any rank.

President of the Department of the Armed Forces Committee (President (DAF)= Of


any rank, be voted by the committee to run the organization. Send meeting notes to the
Home Secretary and the Leadership team. Will have an open forum monthly to discuss
issues with the alliance. If there is no elected President to run the General must appoint or
make sure topics concerning defense/offense measures are being followed, sector
responsibilities, and take the lead role in effectively communicating what to do during an
attack and logistically organize the alliance.

General of the Army = The position is voted in by the alliance. Recommended by the
leadership team. The General runs the military operations in the alliance, he makes sure
every one is defended and coordinates attacks if needed. He can see all attacks coming to
every member and can see when the alliance attacks some one else. He can cancel an
attack as well if the alliance is attacking a member who we have peace treaties or as
leaders we know not to attack that player because it would cause too many problems. The
player does not have to have the highest military score in the alliance but needs either the
ability to get troops and have an army or the influence in the alliance to get the job done
and defend UEMP or attack our enemies.
The general needs to have a great aptitude and wants to serve in that capacity and is
willing to sacrifice everything for the protection and welfare of his troops underneath him
and every alliance member. He needs to be respected in the alliance and needs to learn
not to do everything on his own and communicate thoroughly to the high council when
asked and communicate with the HS and diplomat when there is problems with certain
members getting attacked or get with the leader who can help as well.

He/She needs to be online at least once a day to maintain the peace send reports when
asked when attacks happen to the secretary so he/she can update the internal alliance page
if necessary and deemed appropriate by the leaders. *** The player must realize the
leader reserves the right to supervise that position or give that position to any one his high
council members in the absence of the general so that role is at all times being supervised
for the safety of United Empires and allies.***
General = Officer Rank – Will be second in command of the army if the highest
promoted General and when the General of the alliance is not in. He/She will be selected
from the Commanders who have filled all roles and have done an excellent job. Must be
approved by the Armed Forces Committee, The General, and the Leadership team to be a
General.

Commanders = Officer ranks Captain – Colonel …Commanders or members in


command. They lead the attack group leaders and will take all orders from the General.
Commanders selected to lead and are chosen by the leadership team with the Generals
counsel on the matter and armed forces committee. The Commander will have designated
command centers for distribution of troops, and supplies when needed to each sector that
is closest to them. The commander must be an active pillager, have mortars to knock
down large walls, have general/military score over 10k. Commanders can also be attack
group leaders but since lack of general/military score will not be given the responsibility.
Members wishing to become commanders must increase their general/military score and
chosen.

Attack group Leaders = Officer Ranks Lieutenant – Colonel Can be given commander
rank but not the responsibility example captain but still be attack group leader. ex( A, B,
C, D, E)within the closest proximity of command centers for organization and command
and control from the commanders. Will be given areas/sectors of main responsibility
coordinates with their attack group team members.

Naval Admirals = will be in each attack group - there main job is to break blockades in
each sector
Enlisted Rank Structure - PVT – 100 troops --- PV2 – 200 troops-- PFC – 300 troops -
SPC – 400 troops – SGT – 500 troops- - SSG – 600 –troops -SFC – 700 Troops -MSG-
800 troops--SGM – 900 Troops
Officer Rank Structure - 2nd Lieutenant , 1st Lieutenant, Captain Major, Lieutenant
Colonel, Colonel, Brigadeer General, Major General, General

Officer Rank is determined by how many successful attacks/defensive maneuvers that


player has contributed to the alliance.
2nd Lieutenant – Newly appointed officer attack group leader (ATG)
1st Lieutenant – One attack/defensive maneuver
Captain - Three attack/ defensive maneuver
Major – Four attack/defensive maneuver
Lieutenant Colonel –Five attack/defensive maneuver
Colonel – 10 attack/defensive maneuver
Brigadeer General – Appointed position and must of served all roles as officer
Major General – Must have been a Brigadeer General, appointed and served all roles
General-Must have been all previous General slots, appointed and served all roles officer.
Legislative Branch of the Government
President - This an elected position in the alliance. The president makes sure each
member is token care of defense and supplies and CT’s. Is the main go between each
citizen their rights and the teams associated with the leadership team. The president leads
the senate and signs laws that are needed to govern the alliance. Works directly from the
constitution and makes sure each branch under him follows the constitution. The
president can only serve as many terms he is elected for.

Senator – an elected position in the alliance, forms a team work network of members
whose main function, is the functionality of the alliance. Agree together to form laws and
are the main representatives of the people of UEMP. Follows the constitution and can
create laws and change the constitution after careful consideration from the leadership
team and president and the judicial branch. The senate can serve as many terms as elected
for.

Representative – an elected position in the alliance, forms a team work a network of


members whose main function is representing each sector in which they are appointed by
the senate and elected to function in that position by the senate. The position requires the
rep to know his people that are in that sector and their needs. The representative can serve
as many terms as elected for.

Judicial Branch of the Government

Supreme Court Justice – Appointed by the president to serve the same term with him
but must be re-appointed if new president takes office. The Supreme Court Justice makes
sure all laws are followed in the alliance. If there is a complaint may hold court to
determine proper punishment of a member.

Judge – Hand picked by the supreme court justice to serve with him/her. Can have a
maximum of 10 judges to help in the distribution of justice for the people of UEMP
