PENSION PLAN
Canadian resident is entitled under the Canadian Pension Plan to receive retirement pension. It
depends upon the age at which he/she chooses to opt for the plan and is optimal at age 65.
OLD AGE PENSION
Canadian resident is entitled to old age pension in Canada. The amount of pension will depend upon
the number of years-lived in Canada. Its maximum if the person has stayed in Canada for 40 years

programs from January 2015, Occupation under O,A & B (Managerial, Professional & Technical
trades occupations).

Description of Process flow:

Applicants can file their profile/resume in the Canada Job Bank where Canadian
Employers and provincial governments will assess.
Express Entry will actively recruit, profile in Job Bank, will assess and select skilled
immigrants under the following federal economic immigration programs such as FSWP,
FSWT,PNP and CEC.
Applicants who meet the Selection Criteria and have a confirmed job offer from a Canadian
employer will be ranked higher in the Express entry pool and will get invite to file the PR
application from CIC.
Candidates will have 60 days to submit an electronic application for permanent residence,
after receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for PR
When an Express Entry candidate is identified through a PNP, they can be handpicked and
quickly invited to apply for permanent residence.
CIC will process applications in six months or less.
Candidates in the Express Entry pool who do not receive an Invitation to apply for permanent
residence after 12 months may resubmit their profile and re-enter the pool if they still meet
the criteria.
