Pleading The Blood

April 24-April 30

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and
his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is
flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go
well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and
how much I love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed in my body and
my soul.
In Jesus name, Amen

I plead the blood of Jesus over my life.

Psalms 119:154
I will remember and celebrate Jesuss death when I eat and drink the
Lords Supper.
Luke 22:19
I am faithful to Gods perfect plan for me.
Genesis 22:12

When we plead the blood we declare to the enemy and to others that
we are not victims of events and circumstances, but we have the
greatest power, the blood of a risen Savior, to overcome the
world.
Psalms 119:154, Plead My cause and redeem me; give me life
according to your promise.

The blood of Jesus washes away our sins, and heals our bodies. There
is another important thing that the blood does. In Psalms103:4, the
Bible says, It redeems (or saves) your life from destruction. We
call this pleading the blood which is more like a legal term. When
someone goes to court before a judge, the judge asks them, How do
you plead? As Christians standing before God with our sin we can
plead the blood of Jesus. We are all guilty of sin and deserve to be
punished, but if we have received Jesus as our Savior and Lord, we can
say, I plead the blood of Jesus.
In other words when we are facing trouble in our life and the enemy
is whispering in our ear that we got ourselves into this and we
deserve the trouble, we can say right back to the devil, You do not
have the right to hurt me because Im a child of God and I am
protected by the blood of Jesus. I plead the blood! Remember the
story of Rahab with the Israelite spies, the red cord she hung from
her window protected her and her family from the danger of being
killed. The red cord represented a blood line. Even back then it was
a symbol of the blood of Jesus. We dont need the rope anymore;
we have the protection of Jesus blood when we become born again
Christians. Stanley Frodsham, an important Christian from the early
1900s said, Magnify the blood and the Lamb who shed the blood.
Give bold testimony to the power of that blood. When we say, I
plead the blood! we declare that we have the greatest power of the
universe fighting for us. We have to learn to fight the devil with the
blood of Jesus until we win. No matter how long the battle, even if it
takes years, the blood always wins!
