Job Objective
Network Administrator is responsible to install/configure LAN/WAN environment and support Khushhali-net across the
country.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implementation and maintain of multi network, multi user Local Area Networks (LAN), Metropolitan
area Networks (MAN), and Wide area Networks (WAN) environments
Maintain, support scalable routed and switched networks over Cisco, Nortel and Juniper technologies.
Coordinates system development, installation and implementation and troubles shoot user support requests.
Four years of hands on experience over LAN/WAN.VPN environment with good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS
and DHCP Server.
Hands on working knowledge of routing and Switching (Linux,Cisco/Nortel VPN/Jumiper), structured cabling,
communication technologies and medium (xDSL, Leased circuits, ISDN/POTs etc), Network monitoring and
reporting tools.

Responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting a company's
computer systems. Designs and installs LANs, WANs, Internet and intranet systems, and
network segments.
Primary Responsibilites
Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet
systems.
Deliver service and support to end-users using and operating automated call
distribution phone software, via remote connection or over the Internet.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet
connectivity, email clients, IPTV, VOIP and more.
Network engineer
Network engineer will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in
some cases designing communication networks within GMG.
Your goal is to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure in order to provide
maximum performance for the users and the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system
installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
- The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current
environment.
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems
and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network
optimization.
- Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using
information from multiple sources.
- Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring
access;
- The support and administration of firewall environments in line with it security policy.
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional
publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations.
- Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and managing projects.
- Upgrading data network equipment to latest stable firmware releases.
Requirements
- Minimum College Diploma in Computer/Networking or other IT related subject.
- 3+ years of previous technical IT work experience in networking roles.
- CCNA and CCNP certified engineer
- ITIL V3 Certification
- Advanced knowledge of networking, firewall and security.
