The Department of Education is one of those departments
mak48_95@hotmail.com which have the privilege of being setup soon after the
establishment of the University of Sargodha. The classes
for MA Education were started in March, 2003. The
department started a bachelor’s program in Education
(BEd) and Masters of Education (One Year) (MEd) in 2004
and MS Ed in 2007. Department of Education is a major
provider and facilitator for in-service and pre-service
education and training for teachers and teacher educators.
The department aspires to produce well trained teachers at
primary, secondary and higher secondary level. The alumni
of this department are being equipped with professional
competencies to render services in various research and
social welfare institutions.
