It's "Problems in calculus of one variable".

If you follow this book, then its

obvious that you will never skip any concept required for Calculus till College
level. It will help you throughout your technical life. Everything around is
derived from such Russian writers. Follow other books also, like
"Trogonometry by S.L. Loney" and "Co-Ordinate Geometry by S.L. Loney".
these books give you the real feel of mathematics as compared to other
books. These books are research works of writers. Most of the other books are
derived or taken from thiese books.

It's Amit M Agrwal.
It's not fair to compare 'Problems in calculus of one variable' by I.A.Maron
with the book by A.M.Agrwal.
Agrwals book is full of mistakes.

I havn't heard of Maron .. So no comments on it. .

But , Agarwal is one of the best books for calculus ... But if your basics are not
clear , better go for Cenage series ( Don't remember the author name )

Gud luck :)

Go for IA Maron.

Our whole institution follows it (our teacher recommended it)! It is an

underrated old book, but problems are awesome and its level is more than IIT.
It has good amount of problems along with the required concept. The variety
of problems is good too!!

A2A!
Agarwal explains the problem in a better way and has loads of interesting
problems. Haven't heard about Maron though. The Cengage series is good
for both theory and problems
