CHAPTER 1

Introduction
Health2gO Co
Health-2-Go is a ventured infused water company in Taguig City that was
established by five health enthusiast students of Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration major in Marketing Management of the Polytechnic
University of the Philippines.
Water is our bodys source of life. Being hydrated not only improves our
health and naturally flushes toxins out of our body. In this case, healthy
drinking is necessary. However lets admit it: some people are frustrated by
having to constantly choose between overly sweetened drinks when they
wanted natural, healthy hydration that tastes great; and somehow, others are
too busy to prepare honest-to-goodness drinks on their own and they
compromise the quality for mere convenience. Herewith, the company offers
array of infused waters that will definitely achieve their aim for a healthy
lifestyle.
Health-2-Go makes available of natural nineflavored on-the-go infused
water for the convenience of its customers according to their specific health
needs and medical conditions. Infused water gets its natural flavor directly
from real herbs and fruit through its soaking method.
The road to healthy living starts with what we ingest into our bodies.
However, breaking the addiction to sugar can be difficult. Water is almost
always the best drink choice; a lot of people complain that they get bored
drinking plain water; with infused waters, they can still enjoy a delicious,
refreshing drink while gradually reducing their sugar craving in a natural way

The Figure 1 shows the company logo. It is a droplet shaped logo that implies
a drop of water. H2O refers to water which is the main ingredient of this
product.

Inside of it are fruits combined to produce infused water. 2 go

indicates convenience for customers in buying and preparing infused water.


Lastly the word Health which denotes companys concern for their customers
healthy

lifestyle.

Water is the bodys source of life. It is one of a preventive measure for
dehydration. Being Hydrated not only improves your health and flushes toxins
out of your body but water also keeps your skin plump and elastic, aids weight
loss, boost energy, relieves stress and fatigues and also improves concentration.
This is also especially important as the temperature in the country changes.
While water is almost always the best drink choice, lots of people complains
that they got bored drinking plain water. People turn to soda, sugary juiced
cocktails, vitamin enhanced water, chemical laden drops, and other drinks
with artificial flavor to sweetened their taste buds thats seeking unhealthful
benefits.

Health-2-Go offers a natural fruits sweetened drinks that is rich in nutrients


vitamins, a unique beverage that is low in sugar, and zero in calories that
tastes great: Health-2-Go infused water. Aside from the juices Health-2-Go also
offers a packed healthy and fresh fruits.
Health-2-Go will be targeting individuals aged 15-50 years old, who are
studying, working, relaxing, health conscious people, and seeking for healthy
habits.
Objectives
Health-2-Go aims to be the number one (1) infused water Beverage Company,
and one of the most compelling health and fitness brand. These can be
attained by the

companys various natural flavoured infused waters that will definitely achieve
the aim of healthy lifestyle. Treat every customer as if they are the only
customer. And also to guide peoples day-to-day operation and to help improve
the health and wellness of the society. Health 2 Go wants to open a new branch
store every 12 months to promote and increase awareness. The firm will do
initial public offering for its exit strategy, deciding to sell shares of stocks to the
public.

Industry and Marketplace Analysis
Health-2-go is under the sector of non-alcoholic beverage industry specifically
on a Nutraceutical Beverage Industry. Beverage industry consists of two major
categories and eight sub-groups. The non-alcoholic category is composed of
soft drinks, syrup manufacturer, soft drink and water bottling and canning;
fruit juices bottling, canning and boxing; the coffee Industry and tea industry.
Alcoholic beverage categories include distilled spirit wine and brewing.
The beverage industry, viewed as an aggregate group and highly fragmented.
This is evident by the number of manufacturer, methods of packaging,
production process, and final products.
Infused water considers all types of people between 10 to 50 years of age, on
what places they came from and no matter what their gender and religion,
either who have high or low income can be our target market and can be one of
our potential buyers.
Market! Market! Is a fast growing mall which has an elegant and sophisticated
essence of an Ayala Mall but also has a taste of a tiangge-like-malls like
Greenhills. It is located at Mabini Avenue corner McKinley Parkway, Bonifacio
Global City, Taguig City Metro Manila, part of the fast-growing Bonifacio Global
City which is Ayala Land's new Central Business District
Marketing Strategy
Health-2-Go primarily focused on segments including adults and health
conscious as our primary target market and the youth as the secondary target
market.

Health-2-Go will be providing a lot of advertising and promotion strategy. Since


it is a starting company, Health-2-Go is going to rely almost entirely on wordof-mouth to generate business. They will engage in an ongoing aggressive
marketing programs that will help the company establish profitably quickly and
set the stage for continual growth.
The strategy of the company is to position the Health-2-Go as the premier place
for adults and health conscious as well as the youth who aims for a healthy
lifestyle. And lastly, to position Health-2-Go as the Philippines' first infused
water business, offering a high quality product and superb service in a
superior environment.
Operations
The operation in Health 2 Go is essential, it defines how different components
of the business will work together to achieve success.
The operation of Health 2 Go needs the following divisions:
1. Delivery of raw materials from suppliers
2. Selection and Channelling
3. Peeling, cutting, and fruit extraction
4. Fruit infusing section
5. Packaging and Labelling
This Operation Strategy of Health 2 Go is a process by which key operations
decisions are made that are consistent with the overall strategic of the firm.
Management
The organization is compose of the following partners being the highest in the
organization followed by Research and Development head, General manager,
Administrative staff, and Operation Head. The subordinates are business
follows including the cashier and operation staffs.
Development Plan

Development Timeline of Health 2 Go. In 2016, Health 2 Go will open its first
store at Market Market, Taguig City and will offer nine flavored on-the-go
infused water. In 2017, new additional flavors will be introduced. There will be
hiring of employees and will create new sufficient sales promotion to generate
desired levels of consumer purchase. In 2018, Health 2 Go will open its second
batch in Ayala, Makati City and will conduct an intensive advertising to create
high brand awareness levels among its target market. In 2019, Health 2 Gos
on-the-go infused water will be available in some nearest 7-11 stores and will
launch its new line product (Fruit bites). Lastly in 2020, New sales promotions
and Digital Marketing.
Financial Analysis
Health 2 Go Financial Analysis shows the progress of the business. The
development plan of expansion for the company is justified through the
projected financial statements.
